Feb 14, 2022 onlyValentine's Day at Valette For Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th, 2022, Chefs Dustin Valette and Nathan Davis have created a very special 5-Course Tasting Menu. Dinner is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations for our indoor and outdoor dining spaces are available from 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Please note that the regular dinner menu will not be offered this evening. The fine print - We do require a credit card number to hold your New Years Eve reservation. Should the need arise, cancellation may be made up to 72 hours prior to the reservation date and time. If the cancellation is made after that point, the charge is $150 per person, and will be charged to your credit card.

The food is extravagant (squid ink, bone marrow, etc) but not outstanding. For the price, I would expect something delicious, but it was just okay and some dishes were even pretty bad (pork chop).

The food and service are exceptional. It's like a dance if you order the chef's selected sample menu with plates coming and going at just the right time. The cocktails were to die for!! The servers were so knowledgeable and friendly. My husband loved his ribeye steak.
Fantastic tasting menu. This is our second time here, this time with COVID accommodations. There were 4 of us and they allowed us to have 2 sets of tasting menus, so we got double the options to try. Be prepared to leave stuffed--the portions are appropriate but we were SO full when we left! Our waiters and servers were all excellent and the outdoor seating was incredibly comfortable even in January. Excellent wine list.
The best thing about our Valette dinner was Mr. Valette Sr. coming around to see how we were doing. He's so personable, nice and a great ambassador for the restaurant! Our meals were fine although my husband found his duck a bit chewy and my striped bass dish had a bit too many sauces not complementing each other. My husband said his dessert was mediocre (some kind of peanut butter bar?). I would suggest that they invest in better heaters--the ones they have now are fairly useless in keeping customers warm. It's almost palpable that the Valette brothers are more interested in getting The Matheson off the ground (which is a superb venue) while leaving Valette a bit in the dust.
I dream of the Day Boat scallops and they lived up to my wonderful memories of enjoying them late last time I was here. 10/10 would recommend to everyone for a special occasion!
Delicious food, fresh ingredients, very good service. The tasting menu option is wonderful. This is our second time at this restaurant and it was as good as we remembered.
The food was incredible. We did the chefs tasting menu, and every dish was amazing and we were stuffed by the end of it.
The servers and wait staff were attentive and kind. They were busy and rushing around but still informative and helpful. Our main server was difficult to understand and we had a hard time figuring out what she meant when she would answer our questions.
The outdoor section was chilly, but it’s mid January so anything else would have been surprising. They had heaters and scooted them and turned them up for us when we asked.
Dustin Valette's signature scallops en croute simply do not disappoint! The dinner was luscious and beautifully composed from locally sourced farms. Always a pleasure to eat here.
We peaked at the cocktail and charcuterie board. Then 45 mins passed and there was no entree. The waiter finally came over to say it was coming out soon and would we like a another cocktail which we declined. The manger then came over to let us know that a larger party had gotten ahead of our ticket but our order would be out and did we want a salad on the house to hold us over. We did not so he said save room for dessert as it would be on the house.
After about 2 mins We realized that we had had enough and let them know we were done. The manager offered to box our dinner which he assured us would be out in 2 minutes. We said we were done and he said the cocktails and charcuterie board were on the house.
We normally would have left something for the waiter but he really did not look out for us and once the manger stepped in avoided the table.
I am sure the food is great but we will never know.

BEST NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER EVER! Every morsel of food was fantastic and the service was awesome. We can’t wait to go back!
Our first visit... nice outdoor dining setup that was comfy despite 40 degree temperatures. The NYE Prix Fixe was well chosen. The Gnocchi and Duck courses paired well with the Barolo that was part of the wine pairing that night. If we weren't driving, the full wine pairing would have been a treat. Def' worth the drive whether you're vacationing or local.

We enjoyed the food well enough but the service was awful. Staff seemed to have trouble juggling the timing of tables with tasting menus and those without. Our 3 courses took over 2 hours. We had to beg for wine and water in between. The food was delicious if over-priced, even for the area. Tourists disrespectful of Covid mask requirements with staff unbothered to address issue. We were celebrating a birthday and had told the restaurant ahead of time but no one seemed to know or care. Would not recommend!
Outstanding in every way/ service & food. Appetizers were uniquely prepared & artistically presented. Favorites were the Ahi Poke & the Scallops En Croute. Entree notables were the Duck Breast & the Wagyu steak- both perfectly cooked and sauces bursting with flavor.
Our waiter, John, clearly a seasoned veteran, made the whole dining experience more enjoyable plus we got to be served one dish by ,Aaron, one if the owners who apparently is always hard at work !

Our party of 4 had a wonderful experience at Valette. We got a last minute reservation and sat outside. They have heat lamps so it was very comfortable. We decided on the Chef's choice 5 course dinner but without the wine pairing. Instead we let our waiter pick a white and red wine to go our meal. The meal was fantastic and the wine that was chosen was perfect. The presentation of each course was clean, well thought out and made it easy to sample the many flavors of each dish. We were surprised with 4 different deserts to try for the last course. Overall we all really enjoyed our visit. Would highly recommended Valette and the Chefs choice 5 course dinner.

This jewel was pricey & delicious. Nice atmosphere lovely California trendy scene. Definitely $$$ but the portions were generous and plenty to share with friends and family. I will definitely return for a special occasion. It was cold outside so they were lovely to accommodate us with the indoor table so our reservation was for outside. Staff was comfortable, not pretentious and really a great dining experience.
Very cold and drafty table with no attempt by staff to correct the issue! Sat with coats on and hoods over our heads to try to stay warm while we ate dinner.

Hands down, Best restaurant in Healdsburg. In fact, it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at. Healdsburg, especially Vallette is just on another level compared to any spot classified as fine dining in LA or NY. Such a great menu and atmosphere with incredible service. Kudos to the owners and staff. Eating here is a strong reminder of why we all go out to eat.
