Steakhouse | Granville Island, Vancouver

Food was good , steak cooked according to my preference . Wedge salad with blue cheese dressing was great. Waiter had to be reminded to bring bread and then it arrived same time as salads . Noisy and service was a bit slow considering it was not overly busy st the time . More

Afternoon Tea | Granville Island, Vancouver

This venue was a little difficult to find, tucked away from the street, but the room is spacious, bright, and modern with lots of windows. This restaurant seems ideal for private events. There’s a grand piano, a floor to ceiling screen that features a wedding gown fashion show, there’s a chandelier bouquet of balloons, and a backdrop canvas of white hydrangea petals. We came here for afternoon tea and the food was well thought out and executed. The scones were served warm with a tiny portion of clotted cream and honey with flowers. I had the vanilla chai and it was nice and fragrant. The tea leaves were already strained for us, which was appreciated. A lot of attention to detail was placed on the food, it would have been nice to this detailed on their menu. I can’t eat as much as I used to, but I definitely could have eaten more. Perhaps two scones. I like that they had more savoury than sweet. More
