I am a big fan of Vernetti's and I bring all of my friends. Everyone has loved it until Monday night. I was very excited to recommend the little gem caeser. It was disappointing. The lettuce was very wet which made the salad soggy. First time this has a happened so I hope it was just a fluke and not a change in preparation. Everything else was great!

We were very impressed with the food. One minor issue - we had a 5:30 reservation and were the only ones to be seated outside. We were sat at a table for two closer to the street and when we asked whether we could sit closer to the restaurant, the hostess informed us that those tables were for 4 and she couldn't give them to us. In the hour that we were there, no one else was seated outside!!

I took my almost two year old son out on a date with me to Vernetti. Steve, the owner, has always been amazingly kind to me and my little guy, allowing us to step in to the kitchen to watch the line cooks and bringing little treats for my son out to the table. We love the food here, the room is absolutely gorgeous, the wine list is great, the bar is fab.

I really like this place. This was the first time that I had dinner here. I've had brunch and lunch here a few times. Dinner was quite good. We shared a number of plates, pasta and salads. Everything was very tasty. Really liked the grilled octopus. Service was just lovely. Will come back!

Great ambiance. Food was great. Good for a date night or out with friends. The staff was very educated on the dishes and provided great recommendations. Great new spot on Larchmont that isn't sleepy. Liked that the bar and restaurant were separated by an open wall, made it seem like 2 different places. Only con is that it was a little too loud.

Have enjoyed Vernetti's food and service in the past but on this occasion something seemed oddly off. We ordered Ceci Bean Crostini and Fresh Burrata and turned out they had run out of both. So we ordered Roasted Beet Crostini instead, and they comped the Fresh Burrata and gave us a Baby Arugula salad on the house. The Beet was missing both flavor and texture, we took a bite and left the rest. As far as the salad they were skimpy on the pine nuts and shaved parmiggiano cheese. We ordered a Branzino which was delicate and moist. We enjoyed a flavorful though perhaps a bit too sweet desert, Canoli Duo, which consisted of Canoli with an orange peel glaze. Service was good, hostess was delightful as always. Our server was attentive, yet surprisingly, failed to comp our bill and charged us for the $16 Fresh Burrata plate but forgot to bill us for the $5 Roasted Beet Crostini. It seemed like an off nite, but we were glad we came to this neighborhood gem. Hope

I live in the neighborhood so I've been to Vernetti maybe six times. I always enjoyed the food and the ambience. This visit was for Saturday brunch and was somewhat special because we had visitors from Japan who wanted Italian food! The food was good, and the service was pretty good, but we ate outside, and were pestered by a number of flies for the entire meal. I've eaten outside at most of the restaurants on Larchmont Boulevard and I've never seen anything like this swarm. All four of us were waving our arms and trying to eat at the same time, which was awkward. I don't know what the reason was for so many flies and when I mentioned it to the server she kind of shrugged it off, so I can't give anymore information except it was unpleasant and embarrassing.

Always a great meal at Vernetti. I would come just for the crusty bread and olive oil they set on the table as you peruse the menu. It's authentic old world Italian food in a modern setting. The Chicken Parmesan special the other night was the best I've had. From salads and grilled veggies to pastas to main courses, it's all delicious. One of these days, I'm not going to eat so much bread and save room for dessert... Maybe.

The food was great. My friend had the chicken parmigiana -- which was huge and he loved it! I had the meatball and spaghetti and very tasty. The salads were good but too big for an appetizer. It was more like a meal. They should make the salads a little smaller. n The menu was varied and interesting. Hard to choose.

We were looking for a place in Mid-Wilshire for a late Saturday lunch, and surprisingly Vernetti was one of the only options available. Our expectations were exceeded - luckily, the brunch menu was still available, and the breakfast carbonara pasta was one of the best I've had. Perfect texture, perfect amount of egg and pepper, and fresh parmesan (they bring more if you ask, but I'm a cheese-lover who gets self-conscious about asking for more cheese, so I potentially could have used more cheese? next time!) - so delicious. My husband got the hash, which he really loved - big chunks of hash and potatoes, although the egg could have been a little runnier. Coffee was served alllllmost lukewarm at first, but our very friendly waitress acknowledged it and brewed a fresh pot ASAP. It's also right across the street from Salt & Straw, so we popped over afterwards for ice cream dessert.

Had been when first opened and experience was average. This time out, everything was spot on for both my wife and myself. We live in the neighborhood so it's perfect for us. The ricotta baked dip appetizer was delicious and the branzino was just right for a delicious and healthy meal. We'll be back.

Very simple, yet detail oriented restaurant, presentation and decor, with homemade items. (Jam, ricotta cheese) waiter was very nice. Mimosa had fresh squeezed juice. A bit pricey, but manageable.

Loved it!! Just the perfect modern neighborhood spot, but also worth the drive if you are looking for a small yet vibrant Italian restaurant. Excellent food and service. Enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk patio on a warm summer's night. The interior is cozy so better for parties of two to four. Might be my new favorite go-to restaurant...either for a glass of wine, cheese and charcuterie at the bar or for a full meal at a table.

I moved to the Larchmont area a couple months ago, and stumbled upon this little gem while shopping with a girlfriend. This cozy little spot is so friendly and welcoming. Our service was spot on, even rushing a dessert so we could get to the theatre. We started with the burrata salad, exquisite in it's freshness. It was served with crusty olive bread and olive oil, also deliciously fresh. I ordered the scallop linguine with fresh tomatoe, a perfect portion size with melt in your mouth pasta. It was a lovely dinner all around. Make a reservation, this small space was full to the brim!

Casually elegant and modern, this restaurant is a neighborhood gem in the heart of Larchmont. The atmosphere is lively and features indoor and outdoor seating. The food is old school meets new school Italian, with something for everyone on the menu. Every dish and appetizer we had was excellent. The generous portions of delicious handmade pastas were outstanding. The service was amazing and our waiter was very friendly and super helpful. This is a fantastic place for every kind of occasion because it's upscale without being pretentious. Can't wait to go back! 5 stars!

We brought my mom who doesn't get around very well and the staff was helpful, polite, very attentive and extremely gracious--our server even shook my hand after the meal! Add to that the delicious, exceptional meal and you have a great dining experience--we were even able to park closely, which helped!

Fantastic! We visited for the first time with my husband's foodie relatives, and we were all very impressed! I've waited too long to write this review, so I can't recall a single dish we had, but I know we loved everything we ordered. I had arrived earlier than my party, so I grabbed a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender was knowledgable and helpful. The restaurant was a bit loud the night we were there, but we'd definitely return!

All the dishes we've experienced have been top quality. The recipes are inventive, creative, and delicious. The soups are among the best in town. The warm baked ricotta with pistachios, candied diced apples, and honey is mouth-watering. The chicken is superb. The salmon is cooked to perfection, medium rare. The pastas are extraordinary. The service is friendly and efficient, and the owner/chef is a great personality and makes customers feel like family.
