Villa Rosa Ristorante
I love Italian food. I took my husband there for Father's day dinner for that reason. The food was mediocre. Defenetly not authentic Italian food. Presentation was nice. We where rushed . No time to enjoy a nice evening. Also was very noisy. It wasn't the best experience. I have no desire to go back.
The food was excellent but the appetizer was outstanding....squash ravioli with morel mushrooms and sage butter!!
Mains need a few more vegetables but I am guessing that will come as the growing season progresses. We will certainly make the trek to this location again soon!! Mmmmm
Wonderful service; remarkably quick given the entire bridge tournament showed up at once. Food was good but a little uneven; the limone de vitello was terrific but the saltimbocca was a little bland. Amazing vanilla gelato but tiramisu was dry and needed more coffee and liqueur. The patio is nice but a surprising amount of noise from the street; next time we'll sit inside
Owner Tyler has made his s most-visited restaurant. Food is incredible and Tyler makes this great experience that much better. Very knowledgable of the local wines and the sauces made in this restaurant are incredible. We visit yearly from Calgary and always put this at the top if our must-do list.
Scrumptious good size servings great service and ambiance
We had a great time at Villa Rosa. The food was excellent and we were treated honoured guests.
Always reliable place to get an excellent meal. Been here several times
Food was nice and the patio pleasant although a bit noisy from street noise even on a Friday pre season at the end of May.
Party of three and we all found it above average but nothing exceptional and not up to the on line ratings and reviews.
Great restaurant, food, service, and atmosphere
My very favorite Italian restaurant in Penticton by far
Our meal was delicious and the service was spot on. Very attentive, pleasant and the course were brought out at appropriate timing between each one.
Friendly service, nicely prepared food, fresh local vegetables, good recommendations for local wine. Overall a very pleasant evening.
Food was excellent
Wonderful evening here to celebrate Mother's Day. Always a great experience at Villa Rosa. The service and food were excellent as well as the ambiance. Very good Mother’s Day special menu. The chicken was delicious and the limoncello cheesecake was so yummy. Continues to be one of our favourite restaurants in town.
We are from Alberta and this is the second time we have been to Villa Rosa Ristorante and just like the first time it was an absolute delight to eat at your restaurant!
We went for dinner after our wedding and this was the perfect choice. The food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about their order. The staff were very attentive but it a quiet way. I can say nothing but good things about the time we spent there.
Consistently great food and great service in a cozy atmosphere.
The food and service were excellent as always.
This is why we visit regularly.
Lovely restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Our server Anna was very friendly and attentive. Both our salads and meals were delicious and nicely presented. Lively atmosphere gave way to quiet dining as it got later, and our cozy booth was perfect location. Thanks too for the celebratory Prosseco. Will definitely be back on our next Penticton visit.
I just moved to the area and went out for a celebratory evening. The owner, Tyler, made us feel super welcome and took time on a busy Saturday to speak with us. All the staff were friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs and best of all - the food was amazing!
Excellent food and excellent service. It is very affordable and I would definitely recommend it. We will definitely come back to this restaurant
The best Italian in the Valley. We drive from Kelowna for a meal, and brought the kids with us to enjoy fine cooking. It was all good from hot starter, entre, salad, dessert!
We had a lovely dinner. It was our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised when the waitress brought us a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The next time we're in Penticton, we'll definitely go to Villa Rosa again.
Vila Rosa is our go to place for celebrations. We were greeted by name and shown to the table of our choice. There is nothing we would like to see different. The evening special was outstanding.
It was a great place to celebrate my birthday! The service was great from the time we entered until we left. We felt noticed and the staff was very accommodating.
Excellent food and great value and fabulous service.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were given a complimentary glass of champagne. Very nice gesture. We have been here many times and are never disappointed.
We were in town for a soccer tournament and wanted to support a small local business. This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The staff were very personable and professional. The restaurant was comfortable and tasteful. Except the big purple egg at front could go.😏. Most importantly the food was delicious, hot (pasta) and good portion sizes. Can pick a full or half size which we appreciated. Wine list was good with a few local wineries supported. Next visit to Penticton we'll be back.
Villa Rosa is consistently good and the staff are always fantastic. Tyler the owner and manager is ultimately personable.
There are always specials but the menu has otherwise been the same for a long time. This has its pros and cons, but we always enjoy it. We do consider it special
Fabulous experience. Great food, very efficient, friendly staff. Highly recommended. Professional and accommodating maitre d'.
It was an absolutely awesome evening!
The food and service were outstanding, it was a little loud for our likings but my wife and I loved the overall experience!
Crazy good. Loved it. Will be back. Here for a birthday... any occasion would work!
We had the special, caesar salad, pasta and vegetables were good, but the tenderloin was very dark & covered in a mushroom sauce that was quite salty and my husband wasn't a fan of. I ordered medium rare and it was very cooked and only 3 small thin slices. Maybe 5 oz total? The next day and a half both of us were ill. We don't eat out often so it was likely the meat.
It was our first dining experience at Villa Rosa Ristorante and hopefully not our last. We found the server courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We found the food delicious and the house wine very palatable. The food and service were 100% however there was no privacy or intimacy when it came to our table location and resulting dining experience. Our table was right at the end of the bar backing onto the busy thoroughfare from the kitchen to the dinning room. We felt like we were in the way and should just hurry up, eat up and get out. There ought to be a buffer there. The lack of privacy and noise from the goings on truly deterred from what could have been a fantastic dining experience. Regards. Andrea & André Brind'Amour
Everyone was extremely friendly and the food was Fantastic!!!!
Food was expertly prepared. Portions were ample. All staff were friendly and supported each other by ensuring no table was neglected
Unfortunately we only ordered 2 entrees and skipped appetizers and dessert as we weren’t too hungry. I had linguini with clams. It tasted like canned clams which is very understandable but I thought if the sauce would of been creamier it would of toned down that tinny taste. My husband had rotini(?) with sausage. He was happy with a full portion Still, I thought it needed a creamier texture. Nice fresh bread,
I Loved the caesar salad and Lasagna!!! my husband had the tenderloin special and was very impressed!! He loved his too. definitely would will go back next time in town
My wife and I were in Penticton for a concert that was due to start in an hour from when we started our dinner. Our server, Steph, was great in her awareness of our time limitations and was appropriately attentive to our needs. We started with escargot, which ironically we couldn't get in the manner we preferred the night before at a French restaurant, and calamari and both were excellent. My wife then had the Veal Fungi and I had the Tortellini Panna for dinner and again both were excellent. The liter of the house Montepulciano was a great accompaniment to our dinners.
