Would love to see some new menu items. Prices pretty high -ex 3 shrimp upgrade was $12 additional. Great sommelier though. Waiter a little odd with table side manners. Mixed experience.

Tapas portions are small but delicious. Staff were outstanding and his the sweet spot of being attentive and giving us space for long-form conversation. Noise and light levels were perfect for being heard and feeling cozy. One Caveat; I'd probably pass on the Okanogan flight of mixed wines, as they were not full-bodied and finished with sharp tannins. There are good wines to be enjoyed at Vin Room. Go with what you know you'll like.

We always enjoy our dinners at Vin Room. Ambiance, best customer service (Phoebe and Cory were fantastic last night), fresh ingredients, fabulous dishes. One of the best burgers in town, deconstructed Lobster lasagna special was fantastic, fresh pasta papardelle always a favourite. Best cocktails and extensive wine list. Love to support our local restaurants and this one is one of our favourite gems.

This is one of our fave places to eat. And they just keep getting better and better. The updated menu is so good. We had the duck breast and the papardelle. Both were amazing. Friendly service and comfortable environment.

The portion on a charcuterie is way too small. I ordered the board for 5. Couldn’t even satisfy one Person. It looked beautiful but nothing on it. The drinks and ambiance was great. Waiter was fantastic

Unique and certainly a level above most of the offerings in the area. Great to have something like Vin Room so close to our home. Staff make you feel very welcome. Nice but relatively simple menu which is not a bad thing. Some very interesting and tasty share plates. Did not try any of the items on the Mains Menu but will do next time. Will certainly be back.

Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect. Natalie and Dean were our servers, and they did not let our wine glasses go empty even once. We were celebrating a birthday, and were made to feel special, accommodated our request for a quiet area to sit and the complimentary glass of sparkling was fabulous. We ordered several dishes: Oysters, the meatball, charcuterie board, popcorn pork belly, rack of lamb, and everything was cooked perfectly, exploding with flavour and we were so impressed with the experience. I can NOT believe the place was not busier as it was exceptional value for what we received in food, atmosphere, service and overall experience! We will most CERTAINLY be back very soon!

A special surprise dinner for my wife. When we walked in, we waited, no one came to greet us, one of the servers looked at us then just walked outside. The wind was blowing so I assumed they were securing the umbrellas. When she finally came to meet us she was gruff, never apologized, then proceeded to slam the menus. She took us to our table and again slammed the menus down and left. We waited then decided to leave. A very disappointing experience.

We made a reservation through Open Table for 8:30 pm. As we were pulling up at 8:28 pm I got a phone call asking if we knew the restaurant closes at 9 pm (I did not) and was informed we would need to order as soon as we sat down. It was a bit weird but I understand. We sat down and saw several tables still eating so it’s not like it was slow and staff was wanting to leave. We ordered drinks, and were ready to order food immediately but still the order wasn’t taken for 10 more minutes. We ordered oysters to start and then Duck for my main, Buda bowl for hubby and chicken strips for the kids. We waited 20 min and the chicken strips arrived, oysters came in 25min They were fine, server did not tell us where they were from, minuet was meh, and the horseradish was obviously from a store bought bottle. Kids did enjoy the chicken strips. Oysters were finished quickly and we watched the kids eat. Then the kids finished and we continued to sit there and watched other tables sit and wait, as the staff chatted together at the bar, took vape breaks outside in front of us looking out the window, among other things. It took over 30 min for the main to come. My husbands rice bowel was fairly generic and my duck was very under done and cold. It had so much fennel in it, it was all I could taste. I tried a piece of grapefruit that came with it and even that tasted of fennel. Overall I left the restaurant starving even though I ate the cold under cooked duck. It was 118$ and not even close to worth it. Very disappointing, we will not be back.

The last time we were here we didn't have kids - so a long time ago. Not sure why we hadn't been back but we came here for (day before) Mother's Day Dinner. My wife, likes fresh Oysters and Vin Room West has Oysters on Happy Hour Special ($2 per). She started with a dozen and they were so good that she got another dozen. For mains, my youngest got the kids pasta, my daughter got the crab cakes, my wife got the rack of lamb, and I got the rib eye. We also shared the Happy Hour Pomodoro x2 and Charcuterie Board. Everything was really good. Family enjoyed the meal. Rack of Lamb and Rib Eye was cooked to perfection. The Rib Eye was sliced up family share style. Our waiter (Dean?) was really great and really helpful with recommendations. Will definitely come back in a shorter time frame then the last - especially for the Oysters.
