   In a city full of good steakhouses, Vince Young Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit. Their specialty is definitely steaks, with few other options for entrees. Our steaks were cooked very nicely. The sides are what you'd expect from a steakhouse, but definitely give the corn & bacon a try (a great combination). The wait staff was very knowledgable and patient. The night we were there was a busy one, and so it did take a little while to get our entree order in. The wine list is reasonably extensive, but very California oriented in the Cabernet section (I don't recall seeing any non-California cabs). There were some non-California red blends and malbecs. At some point, Texas steakhouses are going to need to start serving some of the good Texas reds (and, of course, should already be serving French and Chilean cabernets).

   The best steakhouse in Texas! My family and I have been coming to Vince Young Steakhouse for many years, and it never disappoints. From their amazing steaks, to their perfect ambiance, you'll find no better place to celebrate holidays, special occasions, and even a simple date night with your partner. My favorite is the filet, which is always cooked to perfection. That is surprisingly rare for steakhouses, as they tend to overcook. My kids go nuts over the pork belly, and their sauces are so good, you'll want to drizzle it on everything! Staff is excellent; being prompt without being overbearing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

   Vince Young never fails to deliver a solid, tasty meal. From the Old Fashioned to the asparagus to the steak, everything was delicious. But perhaps the best part of our meal was our server, Sam! Truly made the meal memorable.

   Everything was delicious. My only problem with the restaurant is that the steak salad had a sliced dressing which was not mentioned and I don’t like spicy especially as a surprise. The servers were fabulous and the ambience was just what a steakhouse should be.

    Food and atmosphere were amazing. Sam was very engaging and explained everything very well. We could not have been more pleased. We were celebrating my daughter having all A's this semester at Texas State and the experience could not have been better

    In Austin for a conference so decided we wanted to give Vince Young’s a try. Was not disappointed! Food was excellent and the bourbon selection was excellent as well. Disappointed that didn’t have room left for dessert but was so full from the meal. I would definitely recommend if you are in Austin and want a really good steak.

    Kudos to the staff of Vince Young Steakhouse for being amazingly flexible, as we were trying to work around the UT Commencement schedule. They welcomed us, even when we were late for our reservation, and our server, Jeremy, treated us like royalty. The food, drinks and ambiance were wonderful...the perfect ending to a great graduation celebration!

    Went for happy hour, arrived at 5:45 and had to wait a little bit for a table. We were then told that they were out of steak frittes (how does a steakhouse run out of steak?!?) and bone marrow-2 of the items we were excited to try. The 3 servers in the bar/cocktail area were all serving, bartending, bussing tables, etc. Seems like things could’ve been run a bit more efficiently if they had someone bussing tables. The food was pretty good, but overall the experience seemed too casual. The crowd felt more like we were at Chili’s than a nice steakhouse. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Food was good but the ambiance for the price of food was way out of whack. I get this is Austin but t shirts and shorts is not the ambiance I am looking for when going to a steakhouse. Felt a bit like a saltgrass steakhouse with a bit better food. If you’re looking for a casual spot with expensive food (goods food) then this is the spot. If you’re looking for a nice steakhouse with the steakhouse deal and ambiance, look elsewhere.

    We had a reservations for 8 which was called in to be corrected to 12. I spoke with Rachel who ensured me that the reservation was changed. We got there and they still had 8. In which we had to sit at 2 tables separate from our full party. People drove three hours for a bday dinner and we were inconvenienced due to the amount of people not being corrected. The server was awesome and so was the food. However, the reservations were not correct
