Excellent steaks and drinks as always, and my wife said her crab cake was one of the best she’d ever had. It was a fairly light crowd due to the football game going on - I do wish the music had been turned down a bit.

An amazing experience, by far. We have always considered trying Vince Young Steakhouse, but have never made time to drive into Austin. Big Mistake! We were WOWED! From the minute we walked in the door we were pleasantly welcomed. We had a perfect table for 2. The wait staff was amazing, very tentative to every detail. Our waiter, Frederick, was the best! Giving us amazing recommendations. We decided that the Porterhouse steak for 2, Caesar salad, wedge salad, asparagus w/béarnaise sauce, and steakhouse (mashed) potatoes would be wonderful to try. Amazing!!

We enjoyed our meal. The food was prepared as requested. Only comment I would make is that it was too cool in the room where we were seated. My husband even commented on the temperature and he never gets cold.

We rarely go downtown but do enjoy Vince Youngs so we went Saturday prior to a show. As usual, the food was outstanding with our steak and lamb being seasoned and cooked to perfection! I must drop the rating, as the service definitely lacked with empty glasses and not following up to see if we wanted another cocktail or glass of wine, which we did. After our food arrive it was too late to order drinks as we would have completed our meal before arrival. We will return to Vince Youngs and anticipate the level of service we've had on prior visits.

Our first time there and certainly won’t be the last. If you want a perfect date night, this is your place. Really cool location on downtown Austin, and the place is what you’d expect from a high end steakhouse.

Food was amazing! I travel to Austin once a year for work and we always make a trip to this steakhouse. The bread appetizer is amazing! The scallops and filet mignon were perfectly cooked. The sides are definitely shareable for at least 3-4 people.

Went for mom's birthday. We had others in the party running late and the waiter was extremely patient and understanding. The food was amazing. We sampled from appetizers to salads to steaks to entrees to sides to desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection (even the well done steak was moist), came out hot, and left us feeling happy and full. I know everyone has their definition of expensive, and this was totally worth it!

We celebrated our 36th anniversary here. It's pricey, but definitely worth it. We over-ordered because we were splurging. The lobster bisque is bliss, the fillet with the surf & turf add on was over the top amazing. Our waiter was terrific and recommended a fantastic red wine-Rendition. Five stars for sure!

First time, not the last. Pricy, but fulfilled the expectations. Steak was beautifully cooked, like butter to cut and seasoned perfectly. Lamb was sensational, it’s hard to find and so well cooked. We had the Calamari for appetizer and frankly was one of the best I have had, and have had a LOT, in seasoning, tender and a huge serving. I could have spooned the dipping sauce straight like a soup it was so uniquely delicious. The sound level was amazing, packed and could absolutely have a conversation at our table, wonderful perk. Overall, I highly recommend, thanks so much for a wonderful meal and birthday celebration.

I ordered the rack of lamb, it was flavorful cooked a tad bit more than I asked but was not bad at all! The bacon and Mac & cheese was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the perfect ten - wagyu and it was charred too much to the point that it wasn't good BUT the manager came over and comped it and offered desert. Im not sure if I will be back but we did enjoy ourselves.

Went there for birthday dinner and had the lamb with my father in law and both woke up with major stomach issues. A bit over priced but the experience was nice. Extremely disappointed with the food for what we paid. Shared two entries with two four side between the four of us and Bill was $350 without tip and got sick
