The cheese board was excellent and beautifully served. However, we both found that our mains were too clever-by-half. For example, there didn't need to be chorizo sausage added to my wife's Pickerel dish which would easily stand on its own. As well, I thought it a lapse when we had to ask for cutlery twice in a restaurant that charges top-end prices. A good start here but some work still to do.
Not often does one experience the elusive integration of genuine, engaging hospitality, savory cuisine and an iconic wine country dining circumstance.
Service was not good , we had a platter to share with food basket extra .. the meats were so salty and the bread was just a sesame sliced .. definitely nothing special and the noise from the bangs to scare the birds was constant .. very disappointed!!
We came for a Birthday dinner - everything was amazing. I NEVER write reviews; but just to say that the team was awesome and the food was terrific. Compliments all around!
I will not visit your restaurant again. My wife and I were celebrating our 65th wedding anniversary, with our family and chose your restaurant. This was a very bad choice. My wife had the duck which she did not care for,my son-in-law had flank steak which was not of acceptable quality and he did not finish and , I had pickerel, which was badly overcooked and came with a large mound of beans. The cost of this meal was $400+ and it was not money well spent.I certainly will not recommend your restaurant to anyone and suggest a change of staff may be required urgently.

The location is a morsel of beauty for the eyes. The food and service are exceptional.
Superb Red Pepper soup, great pairings, everyone enjoyed the mains. The reduction and barbecued corn with the flank steak was perfectly done. Of course the wine pairings were also great. A dependable restaurant for any occasion.
Was simply amazing. Had the 5 course dinner with wine pairing: simply exquisite. Had dinner on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and Lake Ontario in the distance at sunset. A moment to remember. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience. The restaurant has beautiful view to the vineyard. Food was excellent. Definetely would return.
We dined early on Sunday evening and had the chef's five-course menu. The food was fabulous as was the wine pairing. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a wonderful location and great restaurant.
Outstanding restaurant in a heavenly location.
Book a table on the outside deck and enjoy the massive green fields all around, the quietness and the super delicious food.
Every year I make sure to go to this winery and restaurant at least once.
My family was celebrating my parents' 32nd anniversary. Everyone was very satisfied with the food and service. Food tasted delicious, plating was beautiful, and portions generous. Thank you!
Great food, great service and great wine. Highly recommended
Nestled on a hilltop in Jordan is this gorgeous winery. Beautiful stone shaped and event centre. And resto with patio. My only gripe was I wish the patio was heated with outdoor propane heaters on a chilly Labor Day weekend night. I had the 5 course meal — tomato gazpacho with crisp prosciutto and chorizo, scallops and smoked salmon frissee salad, duck breast on carbonara pasta with truffle, beef tenderloin and a warm chocolate dessert. All nicely done. And an amouse bouchée of east coast oysters to start. We will be back.
Many years ago I was a regular at Vineland bi weekly Friday or Saturday. The chef then was Mark Picone. It was alway an experience when we would go. Every detail was covered. Mark would on occasion come out and ask how we enjoyed the food. The place was packed and need reservations on weekend. I have returned a few time and the quality has not been to the same level. Although the food was good it wasn’t outstanding. I had the pickerel which was very good. However it was served with dried chorizo sausage. I don’t get it. Vineland always served their dinner with homemade sour dough bread. That is now an extra charge. Service was not great. We had to ask a couple time for our server. It was my wife’s retirement dinner which they acknowledge. Appreciated that. I didn’t care about cost. I want to be dazzled when I go to a higher end restaurant. Atmosphere at Vineland is hard to beat.
I suggest a reinvent.
The place is beautiful but the menu is very limited and a little pricy.
Excellent as always.
Just had a wonderful dinner did the chef’s five course tasting menu delicious and beautiful presentation gorgeous view of the lake👍😀
Best dining experience in a long time. ccccccccddddd
We had a great lunch on Aug 26, 2019. All three courses were fantastic and the wine we had was outstanding.
While this is still our favorite restaurant, since the chef has changed the main course wasn't as we expected. I had the gnocchi and it just had way too many Vegetables with so many different flavours that it didn't blend together as well as I had imagined. Previously all ingredients that chef Parsons included complimented eachother and tasted amazing. This time around it was just too complicated and not very good. The soup and dessert was amazing though
Excellent value and delicious table d’hote. Beautiful setting.
Amazing views and scenery, excellent service, delicious food
Lovely place, excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
Excellent food with great ambiance on the patio overlooking the vineyard! The Table d’hote for lunch was a great deal and big portions!
It was my first time for lunch and i was very please with everything. To recommend to my friends for sure.
The wine tour 1st with John was beyond great very knowledgeable, then lunch the duck and pike dishes were fantastic, wine superb, the the desert absolutely fabulous, exceeded our expectations, Bruce.
We had a very pleasant lunch outside on the terrace. On a hot sunny day it was nice to have a choice of shade or sun.
The pork belly appetizer was excellent, the duck confit was good, but the key lime tart was tasteless. Good service and a nice view.
Delicious food. Beautiful location. Great wine selection. A memorable night for a family celebration
We sat outdoors and enjoyed the view and delicious food.
We would recommend this winery/restaurant!
Beautiful restaurant, great food and wine with superb service. I always make sure I have lunch there when I’m in the area.
Everything was great for our dinner, my wife and I have been there before but this time we brought our kids for the experience. The views are fabulous and the waitress also added to the experience as she was very helpful with choosing our meals and made good recommendations. The food and wine were also excellent and the overall experience was good considering it had just rained out and the storm passed so we were able to sit outside. To add to the ambience they had live entertainment during the dinner, a very nice touch.
With the new chef, food was excellent. The cooking styles were different. The flavours were not what was expected as from the previous chef. The service was great! The jazz was absolutely fantastic.
Interesting mix of ingredients on my appetizer and main course. With pork belly + mussels (???) and with my lake pickerel + a piece of chorizo sausage (???). Looked forward to my key lime cheesecake for dessert but disappointed to see it 'garnished' with a side of definitely previously frozen strawberries (no local berries in mid-summer?). Wine pairings were a great match.
Surprised at the toughness of my steak. I should have sent it back. Everything else, however was top notch but with a limited menu and the prices you would expect your steak would be exceptional.....tender at least.
Took our friends from Iowa to experience a winery lunch and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. They were very impressed with the ambiance, food, service. Scenery, shop and of course the quality of wine served with our food as we decided to do pairing. Service was excellent. We will go back and tell our friends as well.
This is the perfect spot for a romantic diner! Great food!
It was a beautiful evening. The service was exceptional. I had been here a couple of years before and had a bad experience. This time around, the food was excellent . I loved every minute of it and will recommend it to everybody I know who comes to the area!
