   Food was good, but there were some issues with not enough salt (boring cocktail sauce on a $24 prawn cocktail is not ok). Steak was great as were the potatoes. Greens were also under salted. waiter was overly attentive and made us feel rushed. Overall good but not great - we have been probably a dozen times over the years and each time they get just a little less good.

   This was our first ever visit to Vintage Chophouse. To say we were pleased would be an understatement! The food here is phenomenal and the service was outstanding. We sat in the bar/lounge and the atmosphere was perfect. Everyone should try the crab cakes, they are next level perfection!!

   Introducing an Ontario friend to Calgary's food scene! Had the opportunity to try perfectly cooked and presented bison with Haskaap reduction, and truly the best brussels sprouts I've ever eaten! Bourbon pecan pie for the win for dessert. Service was exemplary, excellent recommendations, and great ambiance. Highly recommend!

   Vintage Chophouse is a wonderful restaurant. The steaks were excellent. Yelmer, our server, was so friendly and helpful. Even when he became more busy with tables around us he came back often to check on us. This the nicest restaurant that we have been to in Calgary. Thank you for the good music; soft jazz, blues and some smoother rock. The sounds were just the right volume for atmosphere.

    the lamb loin was horrid - fat not rendered & full of sinew. The scallops (only 3) were small & under cooked @$28?, the chicken breast was overcooked & dry & the macaroni & lobster was dry, left in the oven way too long. For laughs, the steak knives were dull, my butter knife at home is sharper. One saving grace were the crab cakes, they were awesome but very pricey for just 3.

    It’s unfortunate Vintage took the Tuna tar tar off the menu. It was by far their best appetizer. Taking prime rib off the main menu is also a little disappointing.

    Nice experience as usual. The ribeye steak was a bit tough this time but we didn’t complain since we asume some times this is how it goes depending on the cut you get. Wine and service was nice.

    Beautiful space...loved sitting in a booth in the bar. The food and service were both fantastic. The scallops, steak tartare, and brisket were so good and the mac and cheese with lobster was a favourite. Our server Meegan was attentive, gave great suggestions, and provided excellent service. Thanks for taking great care of us! Will definitely be back.

    Incredible experience dining here. We received exceptional service and had a wonderful dinner. We appreciated how everything was served family-style - we shared a steak and ordered some extra sides to share. Everything was delicious. I am having some trouble with my back and our server went out of his way to make sure I had a comfortable chair to sit on. The entire experience was fantastic and we will be back when we are back in town!

    Vintage has been my favourite place in Calgary for steak. I have always enjoyed the food, wine, and service. This time was different. The steak was still outstanding, as was the wine and the service. They had just started a menu revision and my party and I did not care for the results. There were new sides, including smoked broccolini. It sounds good, but we really didn’t care for it. I understand the need/desire to update, but the most recent updates were not a success - in no our opinion. Still great meat, wine, and service, though!

    Food was really good, my tenderloin was a bit more medium then medium rare. The Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. Must try. Will go for a date night again!

    Vintage Chophouse & Tavern was a wonderful change from the usual restaurants we've been to. It has a great tavern ambiance (comfortable and fancy all at the same time), professional and friendly staff and the food was fantastic! I will definitely visit again and recommend it to everyone!

    Hey I normally love the Vintage but we had reservations and were seated in the upper area overlooking lounge. It was sooooooo loud the music we could hardly hear. The service was excellent but the food didn’t seem to have the extra oooooompf as before. The side dish portions seem a lot smaller and quite dry almost as if pre-prepared. ..?? Considering our bill overall was over $600 I just felt something was missing from many previous visits. Hopefully it was a one off!

    Had an amazing experience here. Our waiter was Jelmer, he was delightful. I love how they brought out the steaks to show the marbling/sizes, it definitely helped us decide which steak to choose. The two of us shared the Canada prime cowboy rib chop, which comes with 2 classic sides. The price, portion and quality all added up well (we ended up taking half of it home). When we ordered dessert, I asked for the brownie but turned out it wasn’t on the menu anymore. Jelmer went out of his way to find out there had been an event there that night and had some leftover brownie, we were so impressed with his service. I will definitely be recommending this chophouse to everyone!

    Everything was fantastic. Our dinner was impeccable, we did not require our Somm's guidance in ordering wine but the Chateau de la Gardine was fantastic with our steaks. Thank you Vintage for a lovely evening.
