   The entrees of the day sounded delicious and my partner confirmed that the pasts special was in fact delicious. My meal of cajun spiced halibut was equally delicious.. Unfortunately, the chef’s special creme brulee turned out to be just plain old creme brulee!

    I was a little disappointed with the main courses we ordered (the lasagna lacks pasta, that’s just to much sausage and the chicken Alfredo is meh. Its seems like effort is put into the appetizers they were delicious and the presentation was really elegant

    Located in a old home, the ambience is great and the food is even better! The signature dish flambéd table side is tasty and the osso buco was fall-off-the-bone tender. All the desserts we tried were perfect! Topped off with attentive service, we will definitely return.

    It was my first time trying Violino Gastronomia Italiana. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. My date and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming to the restaurant again for important special occassions.

    This was an amazing experience. My husband and I have a food bucket list and having pasta tossed in a wheel of cheese has been something I've dreamed of experiencing, well Violino Gastronomia Italiana made my dreams come true. The table bread was soft, fresh and tasted amazing with the oil and vinegar. We shared a caesar salad that was quite refreshing. I had the signature fettucine and my husband had the short rib risotto. We were blown away by such beautiful combinations of flavours. His short ribs were so unbelievably tender, the risotto creamy, and some of the best side vegetables you could wish for. My fettucine was beyond decadent, rich, creamy, cheesy, and garlicky without any part overpowering another. So far I've left out the hidden gem, our server. I believe it was Anne or Anna, you were so sweet, and so kind to us. I can't stress enough how memorable you made this dinning experience for us. You literally made my dream come true. We ended our evening with a trio of desserts, a crème brulee, a cheesecake, and a complimentary tiramisu. We were unable to finish all three due to the delicious meal we already had but wow. The textures, every dish was perfection in what it should be. Thank you again for such a memorable evening and making my cheese wheel dream come true.

    Lovely dining experience. Our wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. The food was excellent and the decor and atmosphere was understatedly elegant. I would definitely recommend dining here to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed dining experience with good food, and great service. Will keep this restaurant in my list of go to places for any event or for when I just want to pamper myself.

    Absolutely delightful, we couldn't have picked a better place to hold our early Valentines Day. Our waitress Joanne was fantastic and served out food in perfect time. Next time we comeback, we'll try the Alfredo Flambe. Thank you to the Kitchen staff for the amazing food.

    Very pricey for what you get. My pasta "with chicken" came with tiny, overcooked cubes of chicken dotted throughout rather than a chicken breast, which is what I would expect to get with a $36 pasta dish. The molten chocolate lava cake was, in fact, not molten, and the ice cream tasted plastic-y. Simple cocktails were $16 each. Across the board, main courses were probably $10 more than what I would've liked to pay for given the quality, and the default tip options on the credit card machine were 25%, 20% and 18%, respectively. Ultimately, the food wasn't bad (aside from the plastic-y ice cream and slightly edible lava cake), but for a restaurant that you would expect to easily pay $40-70/head for, we would've liked to have a better response than "it's okay" to our food. The place is beautiful, and the service was good. Unfortunately, it's the over-inflated price that makes it not worth my recommendation.

    I think at one time this was an amazing restaurant with an exciting menu. The food was just ok and the price didn't reflect that. With such a cool location and space a new menu would really revitalize this restaurant. Wasn't overly impressed...

    When I choice an Italian restaurant that charges high prices for authentic italian food, I expect CIBO ITALIANO. From the moment I walked in, I thought I was at a Tim Hortson location. No one italian to greet us and nothing authentic about Italy. Boston Pizza was a better option. The food was horrible, cold and no flavour what so ever. We had to wait more then an hour to get our first course. Please shut it down or take that italian name off your sign. By the way, I know italian food, I am authentic italian.

    We had a gorgeous evening at Violino’s. Some family were visiting out of province, and as we have been there before we knew it was a place we needed to bring them. Adrian was absolutely superb, and very attentive. The food was delicious, and we left very happy. It was a great way to start our Christmas together. Would recommend this place to anyone, and have decided to bring any of our family here for a night out!

    We were a party of 5 and decided to order something different so we could try a variety off the menu. Each dish was delicious and presented perfectly. We loved every bite from the first till the last. No leftovers either. Not to mention we also shared 4 different desserts and they were equally delicious as well. Lastly our server was so pleasant we enjoyed her company which nicely wrapped up our night. Thank you and we will be back again.
