Good location. Good vibe. Unusually overcooked veggies first for us as we dine here regularly.
From the servers to the manager everyone makes you feel welcome and relaxed . Great food!
It was my wife’s birthday. And Violino’s delivered. The atmosphere despite the COVID situation was perfect and the food impressed.
This our second time dining at Violino and we loved it. Quiet, very pleasant and attentive server, good food and it makes you wonder who lived in that elegant home that now is Violino's. I love it
Great little gem. Fantastic food, great ambience and feel.
Nice intament restaurant. Food is wonderful and nice choices for any palette.
We had a great evening. Didn’t feel rushed and sat and enjoyed the evening with great drinks and food!
Excellent experience. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Wonderful experience as usual
Went for an 18 birthday. Great food great service
It was a wonderful time, amazing food and wine. Calamari is very good
I have been looking for a restaurant that is quiet and romantic. Violino is perfect. You can sit across from each other and even if you talk quietly you can still hear each other, nothing worse then trying to yell overtop the other customers.
Now the food was beautifully made and the wait time is not too long and plenty of choices from appetizers, the main course and of course the desserts.
We will be coming back again!
Best Calamari in town!! Dinner was fantastic- portions were large. You don’t go away hungry
Our first time here but won’t be our last very good service with excellent well prepared food with noticeably top quality ingredients for some it may seem pricey but in my opinion well worth every penny
I've been going to Violino for many years, ... likely 4 times a year ... and I've never been disappointed.
Wonderful service, great selection of wines.
Food is delicious and very fresh. The caprese salad is the best I ever had.
Great place to go for an evening out with friends or for a dinner for 2
We had most of the inside dining area to ourselves, was a big plus to privacy and quiet and the ambience.
Service was good, no complaints.
Had a birthday dessert on the house, bonus for that.
Soup, suppli, bread pudding were all very good. entrees were good, but nothing to write home about.
Would definitely come back.
4 of us dined on the patio on a recent weekday evening. Other than a few wasps , our experience was excellent. The halibut special and the pasta special entrees were outstanding! Our server was attentive to our needs.
It was a perfect evening.
Service and server was great. Our table was thrown together just off the main hallway so location was not desirable. Crab cakes and risotto balls were just ok - seemed too perfect to have been freshly hand made. Drinks were pricey. Short rib was good. Desserts were ok - again don’t think they were homemade at the restaurant.
Had a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to returning to try one of the set meals once they begin again.
Best patio experience in town. The level of service is always very excellent with a personal touch from Adrian. You have to try their Fettuccine Tavolino when you seating inside the restaurant because they use a wheel of cheese to mix your pasta & sauce in to take the flavor of the melted cheese. Try keeping room for dessert because it's delicious with a good variety to select from the menu and if you want to share, you can have a plate with a portion of all of them. The restaurant is very unique for the architecture and the location is very quiet with a private parking lot. They can organize private fonction occasions with large group on the second floor. I highly recommend this restaurant for the personal level of service you receive from the General Manager and servers.
Overall nice experience and food. Sat on the beautiful patio. Felt slightly awkward with our server, she wasn’t rude but didn’t make us feel very welcome, as if we shouldn’t be there. Unfortunately it put an awkward feeling to an otherwise enjoyable experience.
Lovely evening sat on the patio enjoyed excellent meal listening to music saxophonist was great
Service and food choices have certainly diminished, perhaps due to Covid? Who knows?
I'm not sure if I will ever return...
Food and service were both fantastic. First visit and wont be the last.
Beautiful patio. Food was amazing and service was great! Treated us to dessert for our anniversary
As always dependable for good food - good service w/o hovering waiters therefore allowing good table conversation - that being said though you will be looked after wonderfully.
The overall experience was very good. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and well delivered.
We were treated very well on our 1st dining experience at Violino
The food was simply ok and I would have expected more. The pasta I had was supposed to have been prepared in a flaming asiago wheel, but was a mediocre chicken fettuccine at best. Great little patio and good service, but I would expect more creativity and quality at that price point.
This restaurant is amazing. Our food was perfect, and our server (Jessur) was the ultimate host. Will absolutely go again as often as possible.
Beautiful patio and fantastic food. Pizza was delicious
This restaurant was fantastic! Service was terrific, with all COVID measures followed closely but discreetly, not intrusive. Greeter was warm and welcoming, our server was attentive, and the owner/manager stopped by to say hello. Even other guests were friendly and helped us with our menu selection! We ate on the patio on a beautiful evening, near the pizza oven which took the chill off and we got to admire the different gourmet pizzas being made. We went on a Wednesday and it was our first time there. We will definitely be going back, soon and often! Had such a great experience that we are intrigued to try their sister restaurant next door too (Brasserie Bardot).
Had a wonderful time. My granddaughter was blown away with the experience. Her basic experience has been McDonald’s. it was a celebration for her grade 12 grad. Included in my photos is her picture definitely will come again pizza was a bit dry but the pasta special was wonderful
The outdoor area is great and it is good that one can reserve for outside dining. The outside pizza oven makes great pizza.
Friendly staff and wonderful food will be back!
It was lovely
We had a wonderful dinner on the cute patio at Violino. I really appreciated being able to reserve an outdoor table.
Our server Anne was very attentive. The kitchen staff were kind enough to make us an off menu item to satisfy our desires. While the food is a little pricey, it's well worth it - everything we had was absolutely delicious.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I'm certain we'll be back!
Didn’t start out great. Waited at the front door to be greeted for over 10 mins. However the food and our waitress were great. We will be going back for sure.
Week end Dinner; first time guests. Reservation was made week prior, no issues getting in. We were seated next to the door which exits onto the outdoor patio; no consistency with the door being open or closed, which dictated the flies in and out. (might want to invest in a self closing screen door). Service was good, two girls serving the table at various times, so communication was mixed up a few times. Meal was good, would go back a try other entrees on the menu.
Our meal was excellent, we could cut the meat with a folk. Portions were a good size and the the vegetables were tender crisp. The only negative comment, and not a fault of the waitress, is that because she was wearing a mask for covid and she talked quickly with an accent, it was hard to understand her.
We definitely enjoyed our meal and will go again and again. 😋
