    This was our first time eating here and we were pleasantly surprised at the calm atmosphere, efficient service, and impeccable flavours. It was my husbands birthday and came out with a free desert at the end, without me even asking. They accidentally throughout his leftovers and were quick to whip up a new order to resolve the issue. Service was very prompt, and I can confidently say this is my new favourite Italian restaurant in all of Edmonton. Excellent portion size and exquisite flavours.

    The service was pretty much non-existent. The table we were sat at hadnt been properly cleared or cleaned with crumbs all over it. We had ask for cutlery several times and find our own serviettes. Rarely saw the staff, they took the order then vanished. Brought out the appetizer on plastic plates. 45 mins later we had to ask them to clear the table when they brought out our entrees, which took waaaaay too long. Who brings entrees to a table they haven’t cleared the previous course dishes from. When the meal finally came, which took about 45 mins after we had finished our appetizers and salads, the lobster and stake were actually cold. Took forever to have the meals remade and frankly it was about as good as conventional hall food. Got the bill, then someone rushed over to take the bill back and give us a $10 discount for the cold food. Won’t be back and recommend you save your money or spend it elsewhere where you’re going to get value for a $70 entree and support a business that actually gives a damn. Horrible experience.

    Our evening at Violino’s  was memorable!  And the atmosphere was very comfortable, and romantic, the service was good, and the food was outstanding. My partner had. Aragosta Risotto and she said the lobster tail was probably the best she has ever had anywhere. I had Fettuccini Tavolino which is Flambee tableside in and an Asiago Cheese Wheel.

    Very cramped tables inside. Front end staff not in sync with backend staff. Live music played outside was very loud, contrasting with classical music playing inside. Food was good, however for the price you would expect much better organization and service. Went for our anniversary. This place was a one and done for us.

    We went to Violino's for my husband's birthday supper. Out of 2 meals, both were done incorrectly. The sauce in my meal was incorrect, his med tenderloin came out well done. Not one time did our server check to see how our meals were. Very disappointing for the price and hype. Sadly, I'm not sure what the hype was all about!

    The food here is amazing and the service is great as well. Their signature alfredo dish is delicious and served from the cheese wheel at your table. Overall a great dining experience. We love to come here whenever we can.

    My absolute favorite restaurant in the city! Endless delicious options on the menu. Everything I have tried is amazing, excellent attentive staff! Wonderful patio and even had live singing in the parking lot. If you haven't been l, definitely check this out!!

    I came to Violino for my birthday and I must say it was worth it. Fine dinning at its best. The ambiance is perfect as I sat indoors, and upon my arrival I was instantly greeted and seated. Received water and bread right away and Adrian quickly followed with knowledge about the soup of the day and the specials. Our servers made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and even enjoyed a flambé show. I ordered the salmon which was delightfully juicy and flavourful while my guest ordered the chefs special which was overwhelmingly a lot of food but very tasteful. Not to mention the desert was spot on. I would definitely recommend eating at Violino.

    The food and staff was incredible. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it was amazing. I also have celiac disease and the staff was well informed. Highly recommend and we will be back.

    Very good except for the parking - there was a street festival going on as well and they parked in the restaurant's parking lot so we had to park quite a distance away.

    Food, service and overall ambience was excellent. A very enjoyable experience as we sat on the patio which ended up being perfect weather for it. We both had the Halibut Dinner which was delicious with nice plate presentation. The only minor quibble is always with parking in this area. There is limited parking at the restaurant but we ended up getting good, cheap parking less than a block away which was lucky. Highly recommended.

    The meal was wonderful as was the service. We had a member of our party with celiac disease and staff were completely on top of our request for gluten free menus items. We had the salmon, lamb, Oso Bucco and a chicken dish. All were beautifully prepared.

    One of the best Italian restaurants in town with great patio sitting too.Extended menu with great food selction and reasonable prices. They have one of the best wine list with a wide selection of wines from all over the world. Consistency in service and food quality makes this restaurant one of my favorite in town.

    Our group chose the surf and turf meal and the pork chop meal. The tenderloin was great as were the potato and all vegs. The lobster was very tiny and it and the other seafood were cold. The pork chop meal however was amazing as was the wine , crab fritters and bread. Loved the ambience and service was great! I will be back to try some pasta.

    My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and wanted to try something new to celebrate. So I took to the internet to find this place that offered a flambe chicken Alfredo in a cheese wheel. First thing to go wrong is they offered my husband a refill of his coke but completely ignored me. My husband tried to waive the waitress down but she was completely oblivious of him. Finally we waved what we thought was a manager and asked for a refill of my ice tea where she said, there are no refills on ice tea, then my husband said he would pay for it but she walked away and I never got a refill. Next was the lobster, spinach and artichoke dip. It covered with this smelliest parmigiana cheese ever! I do have a chef certificate and I know there are so many other types of parmigiana to use that are lot milder and would not of hidden the lobster. Couldn't even taste the lobster and had to push to cheese aside to enjoy the dip. Then the Alfredo cheese wheel was not happening instead my husband ended up with just a plain plate of chicken parmigiano with the same smelly cheese, no flambe! I got "stuffed" chicken with a sliver of boursin cheese. The waitress gave us a dessert menu but we had enough of the place and wanted to go home. She then said you are you celebrating something and we said yes in which I did mention on the reservation. So she left and came back with a mini dessert that was the only thing that tasted good. We got the bill and get this they charged 5 bucks for a tiny glass of ice tea! Only thing that made the day nice was the saxophone/ singer player in the middle of the two restaurants. He had a beautiful voice! Other than that not going back!
