    The service was great and the food was so good I definitely enjoyed it. I wish the seating was a little better so we didn't have to sit at a table next to the window with people stopping to stare at us through the window to see what were eating and to look at the game on the TV behind us at the bar, that was definitely creepy and kind of killed the vibe but despite that I still enjoyed myself.

    Das Pig-Out für 2 Personen ist für 2 hungrige Personen etwas knapp. Auf witzige Nachfragen reagiert die Bedienung patzig und wir wurden nicht mehr wirklich bedient. Der Apple-Crumble hat leider überhaupt keinen Crumble

    It took our waiter Chris over 10 minutes to greet our table. The whole meal he was in absolutely no rush to serve us. My husband spent 10 minutes without a drink. Our food was on our table for 7-8 minutes before he checked to see if we were happy with it. He was nice enough but felt no urgency to perform any of his serving duties.

    The food was really good. Our only complaint is we ordered the $17 Big Bloody Marys that are pictured fully loaded in all the promos for this place. While the Bloody Marys were really good they had olives, lemons, and lime in them... that's it. There was no meat, there were no tomatoes, there was no shrimp, nothing like pictured. Not even celery. Disappointed.

    Good, reliable family-friendly place to eat in Times Square. Reasonable prices for NYC. Friendly servers. Quick service. Decent bar with sports games on screens. Easy to get to pre/post Broadway show.

    Nearly every time we come to the City we visit Vergil's. Good BBQ. Tight fit at table. Place is always busy. Make reservations. Its NYC so expect it to be pricey and treat your servers well.

    Good BBQ, but I've had better and I've had tons better down south in Memphis and Tenn. So, I'll rank this middle ground. Trainwreck fries are a solid appetizer. I went with a combo entree to try both the brisket and the pulled pork. My daughter liked the mac and cheese.

    Food was bang average. Chewy brisket, definitely didn’t taste like it had been in a smoker for 12-14 hours. Chicken had fat literally trickling out of it when it was picked up. Service was fine until time to pay then server got a bit moody because I wouldn’t just hand him my bank card and wanted to enter details myself. Then I tipped (20%+) in cash and he got a sulk on and never said bye / just blanked us. Would advise people to go somewhere else if they want a nice meal.

    We really had a wonderful experience! Our waiter Brandon was amazing and so friendly! We had our four year old with us and she loved it! The food was great and surprisingly fast. All the food was very good and we definitely plan on eating here again.

    We love Virgil’s but wishing they hadn’t changed their mac n cheese, it was the best back in the day. Too mushy but everything else was yummy. Hush puppies were the best!! Please don’t change them.

    We waited very long for our meal. A Family of 7 ppl who came later then us, got the food before us (3 ppl). The Steak had more fat then meat on it… Later the waitress lost the creditcard with which we paid and she asked us 5 times if we want to give a tip. But the sercice wasnt good to give a tip so we said ‚no‘ several times. We didnt feel understood, so in the end we were tired of discussing.

    Visited NYC for the Macy's parade. Had Thanksgiving dinner and came back for BBQ meal. Great portion sizes with minimal leftovers. Our server Sam and the manager Lauren were fantastic and if we lived in the city we would be frequent customers. When/if we ever return to the city, we plan to go again.

    It’s tight spacing for seating so be prepared to have people squeeze past your table a lot. The food was decent, but I’m from the south so NY did its best for southern cooking. Service was great!

    This has to be one of the best spots in NYC, it’s super chilled, amazing southern and BBQ food, some great tunes playing with a good crowd in. The staff here are impeccable, their service is amazing, super friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC well worth the visit.

    The Thanksgiving dinner feast had some winners and losers but the service was excellent, the hostesses were wonderful, the doorman was welcoming and polite. The pumpkin pie was probably the best pumpkin pie I've ever had in my life!
