Featuring a premium dining room, and a premium casual lounge , with modern illuminated, marble 30 ft Bar and Sushi & oyster bar this restaurant has something for everyone.

Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday starts at 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. We serve our full menu in both the restaurant and oyster bar areas. Our Oyster bar generally features over 10 varieties of oysters are are shucked to order right in front of you by our bar chefs. We offer 15 wines by a glass with specific attention to Pacific Rim and Canadian Wines.

Dining reservations are recommended but not required. We love spontaneous visits. The lounge, patio and oyster bar area is first come first served. ( some exceptions )

Food was great like it has been in the past. This was the first time at the new location found it a lot brighter. For a romantic night the lights are a little bright. Service was little lacking as I was pretty much finished my food before he check to see if everything was good. All in all good and would go back

I’ve always wanted to try Von’s, it did not disappoint. Oysters were delicious. loved the bone marrow! We both had the prime rib as our main- it was so flavourful and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

This is our first time to the new location for Von’s. We had an extremely nice birthday dinner for my girlfriend. The oysters were fantastic, all the side dishes were cooked perfectly. We celebrated with the tomahawk for two that is finished table side and it was spot on. Overall a five star, dining experience.

Food was great, however I fully expect a steak place to have a steak sandwich available for lunch. The waitress’ response was a “Philly style” cheesesteak sandwich, with fries, which was not close to a 6 oz rib eye on some kind of garlic bread and a salad. Also, no lunch menu- just the dinner menu. Not very conducive to the downtown lunch crowd.

Food was delicious and service friendly.Very relaxing dinner did not feel rushed.Will definitely go back again and would recommend it to my friends.Only problem you would have to pay for parking if you drove.I believe there is a parking lot behind the restaurant.I took an Uber.

They had big party in the lounge but our waitress had let us know and got our order in ahead of there’s. Food came out fairly quickly. Only complaint is I had the t bone dinner special and it was very thin. Suppose to be 14oz t bone and it was only 1/4” thick. But it was good flavoured. Just don’t believe it was a 14oz steak.

My friend and I used to go to Vons in Old Strathcona. We really enjoyed their happy hour Buck a shuck oysters and drink specials. We were excited to go to the new location on Jasper. Sadly it’s lost some ambiance and the happy hour specials aren’t as generous but staff are nice and drinks are good. Limited oyster selection as well.

Amazing dining experience! The steak I ordered was done just the ay I requested it. The new cheff completely surpassed my expectations. Atmosphere is much better than the old place. Diego our server was very knowledgeable with the wines we were asking him and super professional. The cocktail menu was beyond great. The expresso chocolate martini was one of the best ones I've had in a long time and I've been in many restaurants here in Edmonton.

I can’t believe how overpriced this place has become. The food is no different than their last location, other than a few items no longer available. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. Sure, the ambience was nice and the service was good, but that doesn’t mean you need to charge $50-$60+ for a steak. I can go to Chop for this price and get much better sides that don’t cost an arm and a leg in addition to the $50-$60 steak. To boot, we were there for our anniversary and the waiter didn’t care. Not a great experience. Won’t be returning.

If you want to order any other sides, Like Mushroom Rissoto,Truffle Mac & Cheese etc. ,in addition to them you have pay a nominal price ,which is norm in all the steakhouses. Disappointed with the new location. - lighting was too bright - forgot our baked potato, crab tools, and bernaise sauce - drink said it came with toasted Marshmallows but didn’t - dessert was terrible and dry Love Vons but this was a miss and boy do I miss the old Vons

First time visiting Von's in the new downtown location. They don't have buck-a-shuck anymore, but oysters were 30% off for happy hour. The oysters were great, with lots of varieties to choose from. Steak tartare is no longer on the menu either, but they made it just for us, which was really nice. The ambience (and parking) at the old location was better, but the new Von's is still worth a visit!

The food was good, my favorite was the lobster tail - probably the best one I’ve ever had. They have just been open at this new location for a month and it’s apparent that they are still trying to find their feet but none of that took away from a really nice experience. I preferred the old location They have just opened so possibly will get better after a few weeks. Wine list expensive. Guests had salmon which they said was good. 2 people had fillet steak both were overdone. Our waiter Diego was great. The host was also very good. I wish them luck in their new location.

Had an excellent meal, steak and salmon were excellent and cooked perfectly, sides were as well. Service was great, attentive without being intrusive. Manager came by and asked how everything was which was nice. Overall great dinner and will definitely go back! Was also easy to get a reservation last minute.

Food was fantastic. However for the price point I expect a fine dining service level. Or server was extremely absent and at one point after 15 min waiting had to call a separate person over to clear our finished plates. The restaurant was not busy and our server only had three tables at busiest point. Tables were never cleared when guest left.

We took my mother for Brunch for Mother's Day and were excited as we figured Von's was high end which would equate to high quality. Sadly, the only high end part of the experience was the price. The food left much to be desired, the excellent serving staff couldn't make up for the shortcomings of the kitchen. I will definitely not be going back.

Will not attend Mother’s Day Brunch again. Most food was not warm (roast beef, pancakes), fruit was not all fresh, pastries are from Costco. Not quality you would expect for the price point.
