The food is amazing the ambiance is great, would recommend this place to everyone!
Excelent service and the food was great. There is need for more parking. I had to drive around looking for quite awhile.
The Washington Avenue Grill is consistently awesome - great food, great people (servers, managers, etc.), and a great overall experience. We love the WAG, and consider it the best restaurant in White Rock.
I just love the WAG. Food is always amazing! Staff is pleasant and helpful
Always such a wonderful experience! We love it there!
I like the Washington Grill very much. Great location and good atmosphere, I like it that it’s not noisy
Fantastic as always!!
It was our wedding anniversary and decided to try WAG. When we got to the upstairs dining area it had a very nice ambiance. The tables were separated with plexiglass in between. The food was amazing we had the wonton Cajun shrimp, braised beef shortribs and the braised lamb shank which both were very tasty and tender. And we tried the famous wag pie which was the chocolate peanut butter pie and it was delicious not to sweet or heavy just amazing. We we’re glad that we had dinner there as we will be back again.
Birthday dinner, wasn’t to busy as we were there on a Monday. Is often loud but being lass busy made it much nicer for conversation. Great service and the food was very tasty.
Great as always - always enjoy dinner at WAG!
Place is beautiful and food amazing .
However the section we were seated was an extension and not the same ambiance and it was freezing !!
Really delicious and great service. Will definitely go again!
Great service, food outstanding location very accessible. Can’t really ask for more.
Through no fault of the restaurant, I was despondent to see so many people disobeying BC rules for health in public places.
Hardly any customers-wore masks when walking between tables and I’m sure groups of 4 or more were not following the “core people only “ rule!!
Thank goodness WAG had enough space to allow my girlfriend and myself to be safe(ish) in that public space.
Food was delicious, had the stealhead. Service was great! Wine that was recomended was very good. Love the views of the ocean.
Once again the WAG comes through. Excellent meal. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. They got it right!
Casual ambience overlooking the water - great setting. Have never been disappointed in what I’ve ordered. Link to their website and there’s always a special offer. Note: stairs - no elevator.
Enjoyed a delicious, relaxing dinner overlooking Semiahmoo Bay. We ordered a bottle of Carmen Reserva Pinot Noire, tomato basil steamed mussels for an appetizer, roasted beet salad with arugula and grilled sesame crusted ahi tuna as our entrees.
The WAG never disappoints. Excellent service, top quality food and the daily drink and food specials can’t be beaten.
Great meal, friendly attentive service, great view.
as good as always, view outstanding. enjoyed lunch
WAG is our go-to place. The food is consistent and brings you back. The service is spot on. Whatever the reason us to go out for a meal, WAG is our place of choice.
Awesome service and food - waitress was super attentive and friendly!
Always my favourite spot to dine when in White Rock. Never falters.
Thank you for being so diligent in your COVID precautions.
I always have a wonderful time at the WAG. The cutest restaurant with great ambience to start. Always a nice view, excellent service and not only is the food soooo delicious but very pleasing to look at when served. One of my favorite restaurants! Thank-you 😊
Felt they were a little stingy on there desert considering the price pt and they new it was our anniversary.
We really enjoyed the Washington Grill - I had the prawn/curry dish and it was excellent. My husband had the shortribs and really enjoyed them. Service was great. Desert - peanut butter pie was excellent. All and all a great dinner out - parking was a bit of a problem but not the restaurants fault.
It is always a great night out when we go to the WAG. Food and ambience deliver every time!
We have always loved WAG. This was the first time we ever have not liked the food. We were really shocked.
The tomato basil lobster bisque isn’t a bisque at all. It was just tomato basil soup with some slivers of lobster in it. Very acidic and spicy. The Cajun Cesar salad was bitter. The addition of balsamic didn’t taste good at all. And my husbands pasta was swimming in sauce. It was like the artichokes were kept in lemon juice and were super overpowering and the whole dish was too much lemon juice. Even the bread served with the salad tasted like the olive oil was rancid. All in all a really disappointing night. We always recommend WAG so we don’t know why the food was so unappetizing this time.
As always Great service and food!!
As always the food was delicious and the service was amazing. The special deal they had was the incentive to go. New perspex "booths" made it more Covid friendly.
We had stopped going to the WAG due to food quality declining. This has definitely changed, they are back to delivering awesome food.
Always superb food, service and view! Thank you.
Really enjoyed our meal and wine. Service was very good
The WAG has done a wonderful job of isolating customers behind plexiglass. We really appreciated the distancing and cleanliness. Meal, as always, was well prepared, good service enhanced it.
The food was delicious but we felt a little rushed.
Food was delicious 😋 we sat on the patio (enclosed) and when they turned the heaters off it got a little chilly. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
Our dining at WAG was to celebrate three birthdays. The spacing of tables and use of plexiglass between tables gave us a comfort that we were safe from other diners. The waiters all had face masks. The food and service was excellent as usual. The WAG is one of our go-to places to a great meal. Well done!!!
The service was terrible. The food was great. The service ruined the experience.
