Under the direction of Chef & Sommelier Mark Filatow, Waterfront Wines Restaurant & Wine Bar has developed a fresh, continually evolving menu which reflects all that the Okanagan has to offer.

Waterfront is a small 50 seat Restaurant and Wine Bar. We have just begun our eleventh year of business and have established a strong following for the creations of Chef and Sommelier Mark Filatow. Chef Filatow exudes a passion for his art that is brought to new heights through marriages with the exclusive selections found on our wine list.

Our menu specializes in a mixture of Tapas-style items and Main Courses, with the focus on offering our guests as wide a variety of flavors as possible.

Menu selections were diverse and covered a wide range of tastes. The croutons in the Caesar were fantastic and brought a new dimension to this favorite. Meals presentation was great and service attentive. Desserts were great!

Always a superb experience with delicious food and impeccable service. Portion sizes are also very generous which can be rare at a fine dining restaurant. One of my favorites in town :)

The ambience needs a little upgrade. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Helped my wife with her entree choice. Our appetizer was very tasty. Both of our entrees were delicious. When we return to Kelowna we will definitely eat here again.

Had the mushroom start special and it was fabulous so thought we would order the steak special. What a mistake the steak was under cooked, rare instead of medium rare, it was tough and chewy, it had a very strong gamey taste, if I was blindfolded I would have guessed it was lamb, gamey lamb. The potatoes were tasteless and the whole plate was under seasoned. Service was great. A sad experience.

Although the broccolini starter was very tasty, my husband’s duck breast and my sablefish were under cooked. This greatly took away from the rest of the meal. The peach pastry was delicious! I also found that the other patrons’ voices really carried so it was very loud. I feel I had a better dining experience last time at Waterfront and hope this was a one off. Not sure how to solve the noise problem. My husband recalled that it was noisy on our previous visit as well.
