Watermark Restaurant - Niagara Falls
Located on the 33rd floor, The Watermark's elegant, contemporary ambiance is reminiscent of the majestic Niagara Falls itself. Our menu is inspired by both local and regional producers from fine crafted Niagara regional wines to prosciutto from a Niagara Falls local artisan. Tim O'Donnell, our Executive Chef, uses fresh seasonal ingredients that transpire into creative dishes.
Our new fixed-price menu allows you to customize your dining experience. Choose either a three-course or five-course option and you decide which courses you want. Prices are based on the number of courses you order.
Seating requests are NOT guaranteed, however we will do our very best to accommodate them
Daily: 7:00am - 11:00am
(No reservations for breakfast required. Seating is first come, first serve)
Nightly: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
(Dinner reservations are recommended, seating limit 1hr 30mins)
Great view, average food, good service.
I recommend a jacket for both man & woman for its a little cold in the restaurant.
Fantastic dinner, got to see the fireworks, and out server Peter was the best!
We loved eating here for our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was great and the wine was even better. Our server was excellent. The view was amazing. You can see both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. I only wish we had waiting until dark so that we could view the illumination of the falls and the fireworks.
We had purchased a travel package through Amtrak which included dinner at this restaurant. It's only a 3 course meal. If not thru Amtrak they have a 5 course meal that's only $10 more per person. When asked if I could upgrade to that one and pay the extra $10, I was told they couldn't do that. We were put in a glass room separate from everyone else and was referred to as the Amtrak room. Service is not as good for the Amtrak guests. The place was not that busy but yet it took 2 hours to get out of there. We had to go ask for our receipt because we got tired of waiting. It was a struggle to get refills, had to ask once someone final came around. I felt we were treated poorly because we were "Amtrak" guests. When you have workers saying "Oh you are in the Amtrak room" that explained it all. Not happy with our experience!
I felt racial discrimination. I was making a reservation, but I was guided by a narrow table at the corner. Other tables were free.
All the dishes were not delicious. I was horrible uncomfortable with this restaurant. It was my worst memory.
Great experience! I would definitely eat here again.
Food was amazing service was awesome the view is unbelievable recommend a must-see when in Niagra
Anniversary dinner; The view was beautiful, but that is all you get. It was too cold in the restaurant for an 8pm summer evening reservation. The food was not very good,
considering the price tag, (dry pork chop, flavorless cod) and our service was poor so we were unable to address the food issues or even order a second drink. It’s regrettable to say we were disappointed and wished we had celebrated someplace differently.
Unfortunately it is a bit of a tourist trap. We got trapped.
Amazing view of American Falls and Horseshoe Falls. We were there for the 4th and could see fireworks from all the surrounding towns and then the fireworks over the falls. Nice dining expirence as long as you are not on a time crunch.
You pay for the view or location, not for the food.
Nice view, moderate noise level. The service wasn't great.
Beautiful Atmosphere, stunning view. We requested a window seat for our Anniversary & it was a perfect view of the Horseshoe Falls & the American Falls. The nightly fireworks was spectacular and the food was delicious. $70/pp and you have 5 selections. Not bad for fine dining. Tip: If you make an 8:30 or 9pm reservation you'll be able to enjoy the 10pm nightly fireworks.
Great option for a decent family meal in the heart of a major tourist attraction! Servers were friendly and accommodating. Wide variety of menu items for fixed menu. (Carrot cake was surprisingly delish!!)
Wonderful to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! The view is spectacular!!!!
For the amount of food and the cost, Brasa was a much better value.
The food at Watermark also caused “digestive issues” throughout the night at other establishments in the area did not create (Brasa, Rainforest Cafe, and Famous BBQ).
The restaurant does have a great view of The Falls.
Nice view for niagarafalls.
Appetizers and soup are very good.
But steak need some improvement I think.
Portions were much better than in the past. Service was wonderful and we were seated so we could see both falls so it was perfect
The experience was okay. The service was amazing but we had a 100$ voucher and only 88.50 was taken off which was ridiculous. The server said it was because of tax but still a rip off! Also the main courses were dry and the size of the plates of all course were very small.
It was to celebrate my daughter’s 19th birthday which I specifically noted in my booking as well as mentioning to the concierge upon arrival.
Despite of the request to be seated by the window, we were put in a table in the middle of the hallway opposite to the service station.
The concierge did not seem to care even I mentioned repeatedly that it was a special occasion and she didn’t let our server know at all.
All three of us had the three-course prix fixe, but we’re not impressed at all about lots of chewy tendons in our angus steak.
I work downtown Toronto and have had tons of experience dining at high-end restaurants, somehow find it ridiculous they price a mediocre bottle of Malbec for $85.
As for the views, you can enjoy if you’re sitting in one side of the table; the other person will be looking at the fall in the dark and the brick wall of The Marriott.
At the end, they gave us a bill for $400, trying to charge us 4 persons instead of 3. I almost paid the entire amount until my daughter questioned the total.
For the amount of money I spent and the quality of food and service, I can only give this restaurant a 2 star rating.
View is incredible and that is what you are paying for... food is beyond awful
The dining experience at Waterfront Restaurant was wonderful from start to finish. We were seated at a corner table with views of both falls. Nick provided wonderful service without being intrusive. Our orders were taken when we were ready and came within a very small waiting period. Drinks were served immediately. But we did not feel rushed at al. It was wonderful. The food was delicious and deserving of fine dining.
Michelle was the best experience we’ve had in Canada in the five days we’ve been here. She was not only attentive but she was helpful and she gave us information for the rest of our trip that has made our trip truly memorable. She may be the best server in the country.
Beautiful view of Niagara Falls with pretty good food at an outrageous price. Like most restaurants in the area with a view of the falls, the restaurant overcharges for uninspired food that is, at least, presented with care.
Upon arrival the manager seemed to be in a bad mood. After explaining that we were there for my 25 anniversary we were seated where my back was towards the CA falls. No view. After returning from the washroom I saw a table where all in the group had a view. I asked to be moved and grudgingly we were. The rest of the evening was good though the steak my wife ordered was tough
What a wonderful way to celebrate my fiancée's 30th Birthday.
As it was a special treat I booked a table at the Watermark Restaurant to celebrate her birthday and we were not disappointed. The prices are higher than the average but very reasonable considering the location and the food was tasty and the service was very good.
As we booked a table in the evening we were lucky enough to see the falls at dusk, lit up at night and watch the fireworks all from our table. Highly recommended.
We went to the Watermark Restaurant to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. This was our third or fourth time dining there. Always a great experience. The staff is always friendly. They're very good at knowing how not to be intrusive.
We were vacationing at Niagara Falls (staying at Hilton Resorts) and Waterfront located in the Hilton on 33rd floor with excellent views of the Falls. Food and service all good.
Good service, excellent food, Great view of the falls and fireworks!!
We loved the fact we could see the Falls from our table. The staff was cheerful and helpful, very attentive. The food was delicious. I was disappointed there was a set Prix Fixe menu and pricing. We were not able to order extras.
I booked this place because it was rated romantic place to have dinner with promise of great views......it was our anniversary we first got there we had a nice table with great views, then group of 40+ people showed up they were place across the front of us. All were standing talking so loud we could even talk to each other or see the views! It was a prebook as well as we made reservations. We asked our server for our desert quickly so we could get out of there quickly....bad management
We were on a fairly quick visit to Niagara with only a brief time available so decided to pre-book a meal at the Watermark to take advantage of the view of the falls whilst having a meal. The view was great and the food and service were very good. We were lucky to get a window table with uninterrupted view which made the evening special. Would recommend highly to anyone visitng Niagara and wanting a great view of the falls with an excellent meal.
Excellent meal, superb service from Nickolas.
We will be back!
Nice great service excellent food and great views.
We had a wonderful evening at the Watermark. We had a beautiful view of the Falls and the fireworks that went on over the Falls. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and our server was excellent. Not the best food I’ve ever had and small portions but not bad. I would go back for a special occasion.
Enjoyed the sampler of foods. The restaurant was located at the top of the hotel with a nice view of the horseshoe falls.
Very nice atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and our host was quite knowledgeable. Definitely will come back when in town.
I had expected quality over quantity for the multi-course servings.
Been here several times and have never been disappointed. The view is unbelievable and the food is very good as well.
Absolutely incredible from the minute we walked in the door, until the time that we left. Service was amazing, the food was exceptional, the view was spectacular what else can I say this is a must if you are in the Niagara area.
