   We had a fantastic dinner at the Watermark. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The service was amazing and the violinist was great. The view of the Falls is fabulous. It was our anniversary and they helped to make it a very special evening for us.

   The Friday date menu was a great deal. The flexibility in the prix fixe menu was appreciated (I didn’t want dessert so I was able to order two appetizers).

   Food was great, View was great. For the greeting team when seating people think of surroundings you are putting couples at when you are promoting date night. We had a party of 8 beside us and on the other side of us one table down young family with two infants (crying). Was impossible to hold a conversation this night. I made the reservation for your date night promo with piano or violinist playing music. The evening the ambiance was missing. If I was familiar with seating when booking I would have selected their booth seating. Disappointing for us. One more plus to the evening was a young lady with the hotel offered us great service with Valet parking.

   It was very dark making it hard to read the menu. I requested a table by the window and there was an open table and we were not seated there. I mentioned it and the seater still held firm on the booth seating. There was no mention in f the occasion we were celebrating. The best part of our experience was our server. He took amazing care of us and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world.

    My Concern is about the cut of meat I had as it was the 14oz Rib Eye. I didn’t voice my concern at the time as I didn’t want to ruin the mood & the date I was on.

    We had dinner and breakfast there! Service was amazing! Apps were really good, we had oysters, Cesar salad and shrimp cocktail. Entree were bland for my taste, we had chicken and lamb. I’m not a dessert person, it was too sweet. Overall it was a great experience and service was on the spot. Breakfast was really good!!

    I have to agree with some other reviews, the Watermark is highly overpriced for what you get. The meal was good, but not exceptional or fantastic. Many of the options included for you to choose from in this tasting experience are quite mediocre. French onion soup...calamari...chicken supreme. Any of the more interesting options are for additional fees. I had the chicken, which came with crushed fingerling roasted potatoes. Which I've had in several other restaurants. I did not receive what I expected. My chicken was laid atop a small bed of mashed potatoes, with all the texture and sophistication of your local Olive Garden. (no offense to them) The chicken was well-cooked but flavorless. The calamari looked and tasted like it came directly from a Long John's drive-thru. The focaccia was chilled and stale. The duck was flavourful, its potatoes were lovely and the combination with the curried lentils was very nice. This was the only stand-out dish of the evening but I still wouldn't put it on a menu of this cost and supposed esteem. The view is fantastic, it must be said. Service was prompt and friendly. The wine list was boring and overpriced. In the end, that's basically how I felt about the entire evening. I would not recommend the Watermark.

    Every thing about the restaurant was fantastic! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in style. The restaurant is well laid out with breath taking views of both the US and Canadian Falls and beyond! The lamb chops and the beef tenderloin dinners that we ordered were fabulous! The martini was well mixed and the red wine I ordered was exceptionally smooth just like our super server "Mark" recommended. The desserts were also well presented and the chocolate fondant tasted exceptionally delicious! Our recommended special coffees were also savored. Mark our friendly server was top notch, made bang on recommendations, was patient and humorous, The atmosphere is classy fine dining with ambient lighting in the evening. Classic and contemporary songs are skillfully played on the grand piano. Outside when it became evening we were thrilled with the lit up falls, lights in the park and a fire work show! We will come back and ask for Mark!

    Enjoyed the view and the piano player and the fireworks. The best part of the meal was our server. She was exceptional and made our experience even better. She was polite, knowledgeable and funny. A real treat to have her serve us. We hope she gets recognized for her great service. We eat out a LOT and it is rare to find service of this excellence these days. The meal itself was just ok. Salmon was over cooked and we found most dishes to be quite salty. We love salt but they seemed heavy on the salt. Otherwise was an enjoyable evening. Would visit again.

    My wife and I had a great experience at the Watermark Restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter was very professional and friendly. The wine menu had a good variety of wines. The food menu had a great assortment of meals to choose from. Once we sat down, everyone was very attentive without being overbearing. The table we were assigned was adjacent to the window and thus we could see both the horseshoe and American Falls which was great!

    My husband and I got married on Valentine’s Day. We often celebrate our anniversary at the Hilton Hotel in Niagara Falls/Fallsview in February. Our dining experience at the Watermark Restaurant has always been positive. Our most recent visit was very pleasant! Jamie offered us a few special treats to help us have a wonderful anniversary/Valentine dinner. The food is beautifully presented and equally delicious!

    We had a wonderful experience . We had a cozy table by the window overlooking both falls, and great view of the fireworks . Staff were great. Dinner was delicious. The beef tenderloin was absolutely perfect.

    Had decent seats overlooking the falls and the fireworks show was a bonus. I had the duck main and my husband had the steak. I found the duck to be quite hard and chewy. Was anticipating the food to be of better quality considering the reviews and price point. Otherwise our server was friendly and personable. We had a good experience overall.

    The ambience was good and the alcohol was good but the $149.00 Valentine’s Day special was horrible, we had to send it back because it was cold and then we had the crème brûlée for dessert and it was the worst I’ve seen, runny and not cooked. The kicker was they were only going to take off %20 and I complained again and they took the meal off. Our first time at watermark and we heard great things but we were not impressed.

    Pros: friendly server, amazing view/ambiance, decent dessert. Cons: Expensive, knife to cut steak was terrible—essentially a butter knife, food was mediocre, dinner took about 2 hours which was too long for my own personal taste.

    Had a wonderful time here with my boyfriend on a romantic date: The food was outstanding, the service was quick and attentive and the view of the Falls were beautiful. I’m so happy we chose to dine here instead of Skylon Tower, which locals say is a tourist trap— this was a much more elegant feel with quality food for the price!

    View is fabulous. Steaks were amazing. Great service. Waiter did not bring the beer my husband ordered but he drank it anyway. Extra tourist fees are not appreciated. I would stil recommend this restaurant. Great place to celebrate a special occasion .

    Showed up at the restaurant. No one was there. Tables were empty—no customers. No staff other than one busboy that walked by us and kept going into the back of restaurant. Phoned restaurant while we waited at the unstaffed hostess desk but call was unanswered. Message indicated “reservations strongly recommended”. After waiting 20 minutes left and went elsewhere. Had a reservation and had confirmed to their text two days prior.
