EXCELLENT food and service. I loved every morsel.
This is my first time back at the restaurant since it left Decatur years ago and it was wonderful. Went for Sunday brunch and thought it was a creative menu and fresh take on brunch dishes. I ended up with more of a lunch dish - the fish and it was wonderful. Also tried the donut dessert and it was awesome. Recommended by our server and she didn't steer us wrong. Excellent service as well and beautiful decor. I will definitely go back.
Birthday dinner was fabulous!
Unexpected flavors - creatively designed! Congrats to the chef!
Meticulous and inspired dishes with incredible knowledgeable service!
Amazing fried chicken! Everything was delicious.
Had to ask waiter to turn down the music - too loud for dining . Very dark - needed phones to read the menus. They were out of two entrees for a 7:30 reservation. - one person didn’t order an entree as there was nothing left on the menu that she wanted. How do you run out of fried chicken that early in the evening?
If there is no valet, you are able to park in the garage and provide your license plate number to the host.
Chef Marcus is pulling out all the stops with his new menu. The dishes were all beautifully composed and delicious. Also, the service is top notch. All pairing recommendations were on point. Highly recommend. You have to experience the new Watershed.
The hors d'ouevres, alcohol, and dessert were spectacular - amazing. Free amuse bouche was delicious, unusual baklava cocktail, wonderful ceviche. And I loves the live violinist for valentine's day.
A bit pricey compared to our normal restaurants, but nice to see how the other half lives. I think the original Watershed in Decatur was a little less expensive and less foodie-oriented, maybe that is what we were expecting -- the famous Watershed fried chicken seemed lonesome in a menu that required a dictionary on the back side....
Everything was perfect from the complimentary cocktails to the delicious entrees. Our server was very attentive, too.
My husband and I enjoyed a nice quiet Valentine’s Day lunch. The bento box, chicken and dumplings, and collard greens were amazing.
The food wasn’t good and yet the cost of it was over priced.
The food was truly delicious and our server recommended a dish for an appetizer—it was excellent! Rabbit biscuits!
Would like to see more of a drink menu, but otherwise it was 5 stars all the way.
Ambiance is wonderful!!! Highly recommend this to all!
Great food and great company. Would go there again
This used to be one of our favorites but things have definitely changed. First we ordered the soup which was served luke warm. The waiter did offer to take it off the bill. I ordered the pork belly... well first,it is served in a bowl that makes it impossible to cut. I know that ordinarily pork belly is very tender so you should be able to eat it out a bowl... so I try to cut it but very difficult. When I finally took a bit I found why it was so hard ...grissle and fatty! Took another bite and the same. The fried Chix was a little “Gamy”. The saddest part was our favorite dessert the hot milk cake... totally different now with some kind of sesame sugar film...😢. So sad ... no longer the great food we remember...
The food continues to amaze us. The chef has done an outstanding job with presentation and excellent combinations of meats, sauces, vegetables and seasoning. Highly recommend Watershed!
The food was incredible! Service was great! Will be back again!
Cocktails were inspired and tasty and entrees were delicious. Drinks are $1-2 over priced for location.
Turns out that they’re under new management. Our favorite menu items are gone. I ordered my burger medium well but it came medium rare and the bun was stale. The fried chicken was still great, though.
My friends fried chicken was under cooked and under seasoned. My rabbit biscuits were not the best because there was hard, over cooked rabbit that was chewy to non-chewable. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The squash soup was good. The Brussels Caesar was just okay. The Bloody Mary was not as good (it was watery and not as spicy) as it was under the previous management. The service was awesome.
Server was great and was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Disappointed in the cocktail menu so ended up getting a nice bottle of wine.
Our waiter was awesome! I forgot his name but I think he is from Bermuda- he was so passionate about the food i actually learned a lot! Loved it. The meal was top notch.
Watershed is a treat! The menu is exceptional. The menu choices were all very creative and our table of four tried a wide variety first courses and entrees. They were all delicious. Definitely recommending to my friends. The service was also great. The waiter never hurried us or hovered nearby. Much appreciated!
Wonderful staff - awesome food - ambience - superb!
I am not kidding this was one of the best meals of my life! The staff was attentive without hovering. They we kind and generous. The food was out of this world. We went for my birthday just my Husband and myself. I can not wait to bring everyone I know back.
The menu looks very interesting, but we were underwhelmed with the taste of the food...
New Year’s Eve dinner & drinks. Great service. They were out of the fried chicken and one other signature dish, otherwise outstanding.
Food wasn’t as good as previous Watershed experiences. Fried chicken sandwich was rubbery and Cobb salad was missing several ingredients and had others that weren’t listed on menu.
Overall a pleasant experience, service was good. It was a slow night so it was very quiet. I don’t think the lack of patrons was due to anything wrong with the restaurant it seemed slow everywhere.
We're big fans of this restaurant for the ambiance, friendly and attentive service and outstanding menu.
Over priced for what I received. Nothing really bad , but nothing really great
The food was good, however I will warn you that my fried chicken came with a prominent chicken foot. It was startling to me but I have a thing about presentation, for example whole fish (with the head and eyes) and ummmm... Chicken feet which I did discard immediately (along with the livers) and enjoyed the other parts .. breast, thigh and leg. Otherwise the other food ordered (burgers and redfish) were delicious.
Good entrees and I liked my pork belly appetizer but my partner was disappointed with the Kale salad. The leaves were very large and hard to manage on the fork.
We ordered Bombay Sapphire Gin martinis and they came back to the table and told us “we just ran out “. However, when we looked at the gin list it was never on there. Also, no Beefeaters. What do they put in a Gin Martini. Don’t suggest Hemrick’s or Plymouth.
Easy covered parking. However, it was a weeknight and there was scarcely anyone in the dining room. Doesn’t look like a long future for Watershed.
We enjoyed our dinner. Gazi is the best waiter in town!~
This was my fifth time going to this restaurant. In the past, I would have given the establishment a higher rating. However, they had a new bartender and she was horrible. When we arrived at 7 pm, the restaurant was empty. There were only two other people there when we arrived. This is abnormal for this establishment. The food was good. Although the spaghetti appetizer we ordered was lukewarm. The drinks we ordered were not good at all. My mother sent hers back. It was a whiskey sour--very simple cocktail! My mom usually enjoys the cocktails that she has at this restaurant. I believe they need to find a new bartender because Atlanta is full of establishments with great food AND A GREAT BAR!
Not a good experiences at all. We went on a Friday evening and immediately noticed it was deserted inside. We first ordered the curry cauliflower and it came out almost ice cold. They brought it out again and it was a completely different sauce from before and did not taste as good. We shared the cheeseburger and it was so incredibly salty, it was inedible. Neither I nor my fiancé could finish it. The French fries were soggy. Our actual server, Taylor was actually wonderfully sweet and nice and was overly apologetic for our experience. To apologize for the food, another server/hostess Marlo came out and served us some crab claws. When my fiancé told her I had a shellfish allergy, she said, “yea...well of course you do,” and immediately left the table. Very rude and unacceptable. We will never go back anytime soon but hope Watershed will figure it out. Please note, my one star for service is only due to the lady Marlo. Not for our server, Taylor. He deserved 5 stars
