    We went there for a special occasion and were not disappointed. The salad and main course were splendid, although the dessert was a bit bland. But not so much as to spoil an otherwise wonderful dinner. I found the decor a bit spare. Then again, I suppose that this is what people want now. Still, I highly recommend it.

    The outdoor patio was romantic and very comfortable. The patio menu is somewhat limited but our food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and engaging. Thank you for a lovely experience!

    We wanted a nice patio with a bit of ambience and it was perfect. The menu was varied and had something for both of us. We had a bbq platter and Thai chicken and they were outstanding. Highly recommend the Aperol Spritz to set the tone.

    Love to go here whenever we are in the area. While not the most economical, the food is always delicious. In these COVID-times, only outdoor dining was available. The Chicken and Brisket BBQ was fantastic and I had enough brisket left over to make some tacos for lunch the next day. My Old Fashioned was also very flavourful. The strawberry preserve added to the paté starter made the dish and the flaky salt was needed. Somehow the cream n the sticky toffee pudding also elevated the dessert. Don't skip these extras. The ambience was lovely but some padding on the seats would make this great place even more inviting.

    I love Wellington. I have been to many fine restaurants in many cities and countries and Wellington never disappoints. The food is beautifully prepared and presented. Staff is very kind and friendly without being intrusive. The restaurant ambience is modern and tasteful but not ostentatious. The menu is creative and delicious. Bon appetite!

    The food and service were fabulous. The Thai curry was very flavourful and delicious. The barbecued brisket plate was plentiful, tender and moist. Service was spot on and friendly without being intrusive. Will definitely return!

    Our usual appetizer was the pate and focaccia toasts, followed by a wonderful entrée... duck breast medallions with very nice brussels sprouts with a beet puree. The portion was perfect and the whole experience was very good. Thank you.

    Wonderful meal with friends. They offer corkage if you prefer to bring your own selection. Had the oysters app which I am guessing don’t get ordered that often as the waiter didn’t know what kind they were and they were served without horseradish, spoon for the minuet and were not all removed from the muscles, but they corrected all quickly. The duck ravioli was fantastic as was the pork belly and duck main. Wonderful evening

    This was our first experience at the Wellington court Restaurant. It was evident from the beginning this restaurant is not able to manage the capacity of a holiday celebration (Valentines Day). We sat at the bar when we first arrived due to the line up coming in behind us. No drink order was taken, we were seated at a table opposite to the front door (recommendation don’t sit at that table on a cold night). It was freezing and kept my coat over my shoulders the entire evening. It took almost 20 minutes to be offered a glass of water. When we finally got to order the wine there was no white Pinot Grigio on the menu! Who doesn’t offer Pinot? We did get a rose which was delicious ! Forty minutes in and we were finally asked for our order for apps. We ordered our apps waited another 25mins and watched tables around us receive theirs that was seats after us. Finally the apps arrived! What?? They are the wrong ones! Lots of apologies! We suggested we order our main meal because we weren’t sure how long that would take. When we got our meal finally!!!! The evening turned around from misery to amazing because of the food. We had a young couple next to us and we had great conversation and laughs listening to them at the stage of young parents to our stage as what we would call young grandparents. The evening came to a close and we received our bill and no apology for all the unpleasantries in the beginning no offer to of a small % off our bill for the inconveniences. Just a very large bill. Will we return yes maybe but the Wellington would not be our first place to go for a celebration night unless they revamp their planning and the ability to serve their capacity. If a restaurant is taking reservations then then they need to be prepared to provide the ultimate experience. We would not recommend this restaurant to family and friends due to the inconsistently of our one and only experience.

    The restaurant was great and we would revisit again. The staff were beyond amazing. We were stuck in traffic and they pushed our reservation back by 1 hour despite being Valentines Day. The decor and overall feel was modern and fresh. The food was good. The calamari was delish! The lobster was a bit on the salty side for our taste and the strip loin was jus an average streak and sweet potato fries. We had a show to get to and sadly we were unable to taste the desserts. I am sure they would have been incredible. My one critique would be that anyone in heels, the laminate floor in the bathroom area is like a skating rink .... wow! I looked like Bambi! Also, where the kitchen door is a caution sign needs to be placed. I was almost taken out by the door ... it gave us a good chuckle! Overall, when in St. Catherines we would go again and would highly recommend.

    First time. Although we enjoyed our food, we found the service to be average. It was acceptable but not terribly friendly. At no time during or at the end of our dinner did anyone check in with us as to how we were enjoying our meals. I only ate less than half of my dinner which normally results in being questioned as to anything being wrong, I was asked only if I wanted to take it with me. Disappointed.
