Our waiter Max was very attentive and engaging, food was good as always, and just a really nice little date night out.
Brunch menu very limited. Expensive for simple bacon, eggs, and lousy hash browns. They were actually just over browned dry diced potatoes with no flavoring. French toast was soggy. Eggplant flatbread over breaded and overcooked. Just not a great experience. The only thing that was done correctly was my MIL’s eggs Benedict.
We had four of us at the table and all absolutely loved our meals. The calamari appetizer was delicious the winter Mule special cocktail was fun to try as well. The only issue we had is that the salad arrived with the meal not before. Wasn’t busy enough that this should’ve happened as most top end restaurants know salad should always come first. But we would go again.
I am always satisfied by the food and the service . I recommend 100 percent to everyone ! The waiter was very nice and accommodating .
Had our table ready when we arrived. Service was excellent and the food was prepared to everyone's liking. Will go back again.
Great atmosphere, great service
Excellent food, and our server Sam was so nice and attentive. Never felt rushed even though we stayed quite a while.
The pasta was so disappointing! Tasteless sauce and meatballs. The pesto pasta had a slight flavor of pesto and I had to hunt for the chicken that cost extra. Honestly I’ve made much tastier dishes using boxed pasta. Absolutely NOT worth $20 per entree. They served a 2-inch piece of bread sliced into 3 skinny pieces (for our party of three). And 2 small glasses of an Arnie Palmer cost $7. No free refills! Ridiculous.
We will not be returning. So disappointing!
Delicious food ! We went for brunch! Our waiter was so good and nice. We loved it😀
I haven’t been to Wheatfields in several years. It’s just as good as it was then. For unique flavors as well as comfort flavors this is the place to go!
Outdoor space was very nice. Did not feel like you were on a sidewalk along a parking lot. Service was excellent. Will go back again!
We waited 20 minutes for a server to take our order. There was one other table with customers. She busied herself sanitizing a table just vacated. We left.
Our experience dining at wheatfields was very good. The food was very good. The service was very good. The only suggestion I have would be to shorten wait time between courses alittle. Overall would go back
Always good. Smaller menu than in the past but could be the covid shortages. Otherwise as great as ever
We love it there and Johnny is the Best!
Wheatfields is one of our favotites. Last night it didn’t meet expectations. The marinara sauce had no taste and the pizza crust was undercooked
I was disappointed in the menus. They had very limited vegetarian options. Is it so hard to have eggplant parm, or cheese filled raviolis? I was going to order the lasagna until I found out it had meat in it. I ended up getting a pizza . I could get that anywhere. Soooo disappointed!
Not as many brunch options as on the web site, what was available was pretty ordinary. Food was also Luke warm.
Great place! The food and service were amazing! Very good size portions as well!
Great service. Food was good, even with limited Menu. Easy to get in and out, as we had one in our party with a Walker.
The food and waitress were very good, the downside was the the acrostics. It was loud in the back dining room.
Dinner with friends is always fun and the seating in a large, comfy booth was perfect for catching up and being social distanced from other patrons. The food was very good, although one member of the party got the restaurant's version of surf and turf (shrimp instead of lobster) and it only came with two medium-sized shrimp. Not enough for the price. Otherwise, great meal and charming waitress. Bartender for pre-meal cocktails was friendly and attentive.
Delicious as always!
The overall experience was good due to the service and responsiveness of staff and management. Having said this, I am sorry to say that our meals were a great disappointment. After sending back the first choice (I have never done this before but that’s how inedible it was) the next choice was not much better. I believe it was the manager definitely tried to make amends but the problem was with the chef’s preparation. Needs much more learning of how to prepare the food that gives Wheatfields its reputation for being wonderful.
Having recently eaten at the Saratoga establishment and had incredible meals, I was expecting the same quality and care in the food preparation. I really am sorry to have to submit this sort of review but unless there are changes I would not return to the Clifton Park restaurant.
Our server and other staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was so disappointing. Super salty, the smoked salmon Benedict was over cooked (smoked salmon shouldn’t be cooked at all). Omelette was huge, thick, and overcooked. Even the side salads were sad. It was so disappointing.
it was a nice experience. our waitress was great & i gave her a higher tip than i normally do. we went for father's day brunch. the menu was rather limited & the food was satisfactory. i wouldn't recommend for a special ocassion, but for a regular meal it's ok.
Food and service was excellent. The only complaint I had was it was super cold i asked if they could turn the air down they did but it went cold again within a few minutes. We didn’t stay for dessert cause I needed to get out of the cold. But everything else was great. Thanks
Great place for lunch during the week! Quiet enough to have a pleasant conversation while enjoying a great meal. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Date night! Great meal. Excellent service Reasonable and expected prices. We ate inside but the patio looked inviting as well.
We are never disappointed when we go to Wheatfields.
Food was not hot when served. Extent of the menu was disappointing vs. past visits
Ordered the shrimp and spinach. Hardly any spinach in the dish. Very disappointing.
I ordered the chicken rollatini. My pasta was dry and chewy. The dish did not look or taste fresh at all.
On a positive note, the staff was extremely pleasant.
It was good for a Mother’s Day brunch. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us
Service was slow but we saw hey we terribly understaffed, so no complaint in person
A lovely meal in a "socially distanced" restaurant. The food was delicious and very reasonable
Superb food! Tremendously kind and gregarious server named Max!
I ordered the chicken marsala and hubby ordered the chicken & sausage scarpetta. We both had a side salad which is extra. Both entrees were very good and there was enough for leftovers the next day. They also served bread and butter with the meals. We were seated in the back near the kitchen area so it was a little noisy but not overpowering.
Wait staff was very attentive and several different ones brought us drinks from the bar and food from the kitchen as well as picking up the empty dishes on the table.
The service was top notch. Will did a fantastic job and the bartender made a fantastic old fashion with Bullet Rye and a decent vodka martini. The Calamari was fresh and delicious.
