Very nice option to fine "chain" restaurants. Sam was an excellent waiter. The appetizers were excellent. The food was very nicely done and the dessert superb. The wine list while extensive, was misleading since the first four chosen by our party were not in stock. Will definitely eat there again.
Food took way too long to come out
We had a great time- food was very good. Service was spot on.
The Pomegranate martini was so fresh! 10/10. Definitely would return or cocktails.
Food was excellent! A little pricey…took a while for the food to come out, but worth the wait.
Parents Anniversary! Very accommodating, food was great especially the drinks. The blackberry old fashion was awesome! Thanks WOKC
Our waiter Sam was amazing. True southern hospitality. Food and service were excellent. The bartender deserves 5 stars too. Would definitely go again. High end, but casual atmosphere
Chicken and waffles and the Rosé 75 were BOMB!
Excellent meal! Heidi was an excellent server! A perfect anniversary meal!
We sat outside. Our waitress was very attentive and easy to work with. Seating was well spaced. The street was noisy as expected, but not so much that it interfered with conversation. Food was interesting and very good.
We would be happy to eat here again.
The food was outstanding and so was the service.
Great restaurant, we sat outside (covid). There was more noise because of activity in the city. Our server was super busy but was still thoughtful and gave good recommendations. Don't leave here without trying the pecan pie and butter cake! Many other items were great but slightly over priced. We went because the site said they specialize in whiskey and bourbon but there were minimal cocktails with dark liquor nor was there a menu of what items the bar had. Just a missed opportunity I think.
I’m not sure why they allowed me to make a reservation at 8:30pm when the kitchen closes at 8:30pm. We showed up 20 minutes early to see if we could get seated earlier and it’s a good thing we did because as soon as we sat down (around 8:25pm) the annoyed waitress informed us we needed to put in our order immediately because the kitchen closed at 8:30pm. We, hurriedly, ordered appetizers, drinks, and dessert. The food was OK, the charcuterie board was NOT worth the twenty-something dollars it costs. It has 3 thin slices or ham, 6 pieces of salami, 4 pieces of cheese, 3 pieces of bread, some crab concoction and mustard. The waitress looked super annoyed and even rolled her eyes when the manages introduced her to us. We lefts HIGHLY disappointed with the service and the food.
Great location for a working lunch. Outside seating, food and service were excellent.
Great food as always!
We went pretty late on a Friday night and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing! The inside is gorgeous and really felt like something special
Outstanding. Four work colleagues were looking for a quality meal with local flavor to celebrate. White Oak did not disappoint. Fried green tomatoes, entrees, and Duck Horn Decoy Zinfandel.
I *hate* the high top chairs…totally uncomfortable and takes away from the dining experience.
Was very pleasant to sit outside. Our waiter was very kind but was managing indoor and outdoor tables. He brought the check over quickly when I politely requested it.
The food was good but a little pricy for the portion size.
I work right next door in the 260 building and have been coming here for a few years...the service, food and drinks is always spot on. It's the reason my company frequently rents out the VIP room when we are entertaining out of town employees or clients, we know we'll have a great meal and good service.
Decent food, service was too slow. It took 1.5 hours to get our food. They were out of different drinks too.
Unfortunately, we dined at this restaurant at the end of Dragon Con and if we knew we would have passed on this restaurant. But we didn’t.
PROS: Eager and helpful waiter, lovely ambiance, free birthday dessert, and great cocktails.
CONS: limited and over priced menu, overpriced parking in the area, no candle for the cake
FOOD: beignets and she crab soup yummy! Fried chicken great and trout was really good. The greens are a hard pass.
We were celebrating a milestone birthday and this restaurant just didn’t hit the mark for a special occasion.
We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation, which happened to be the same weekend as Dragon Con. I had been in touch with the manager about our reservation, and he professional and helpful. We’d read multiple reviews complaining about slow service which was why made an early reservation and why we arrived early. After some confusion, we were seated. The Yelp reviewers did not lie. We arrived and were seated by 5:30, barely got out by 7:30. And the food was good, but our server was really slow, forgot drinks, etc. I was told that it was Dragon Con, so they would be busy (they weren’t), what it would have been nice to hear was that they had an extremely limited menu because of The Event. We had been reviewing the menu and were so excited about some items we didn’t get to try. And, as luck would have it, they didn’t have the one drink I wanted and my friend had a floater in her wine AND the soda someone else order came without the syrup. Understand it’s challenging times for servers right now. Understand this industry I struggling. But this felt like basic stuff. Food overall was only OK. The ambiance and decor were lovely. I would try them again, but not if I have any other plans that night, because everything was just slow, and we were almost late for our show.
We booked this place bc it was the closest restaurant to our hotel we could book for breakfast. We were meeting friends we haven’t seen in years. We were embarrassed bc we picked the place and the food was awful and expensive so we picked up the tab. The menu was tiny and they were out of 20% of it. Our friends burger was raw, sliding off the bun. The chicken. & waffles were overdone and no butter. The cinnamon was rock hard. Don’t eat here for breakfast.
It was a gorgeous night to sit on the patio and have cocktails while watching the Dragon Con festivities. However after two hours of waiting for our food, our waitress finally asked if we ever put in our main order which we had hours ago. We just asked for the check and left. $80 worth of 4 drinks and one appetizer that took at least 40 mins to come out. Ended up at Mellow Mushroom. They didn’t even Comp our drinks or appetizer after waiting 2 hrs for dinner that never came.
Although the restaurant was very busy and short of staff, as everywhere is right now, they made apologies and the manager was out front answering questions and trying to make sure things went as well as possible. Be prepared for a long wait for food and drinks. They are delicious and served in interesting surroundings.
We discovered this gem in 2019 during Dragon Con. It has become a yearly dinner now as it was so good. It still is. Wait staff is fun and efficient. The food is delicious. The drinks are inventive and tasty. Highly recommend.
This is one of our favorite restaurants- the food is always fantastic, and our server Bridget and her trainee were both wonderful.
My husband and I both had the steak - it was amazing. Our friend had the chicken and he was really impressed. We had a lovely server, who really took care of us. We were able to sit outside and it was a beautiful night in Atlanta. Everyone was gracious and helpful. It being the start of Dragon Con weekend, they really handled everyone nicely.
My husband and our friends did say their mixed cocktails were too strong - not sure if it was someone new or they were rushed. No one cared, because the food was really good and it just didn't matter.
Delicious food snd great staff. I will go back. Great ambiance.
Wow! This restaurant was a treat. Excellent cocktails. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I focused on fancy southern comfort food. I had the shrimp beignets for an appetizer and they were the best thing I’ve eaten in a year and a half. The fried chicken with the zucchini/ goat cheese was also excellent. The key lime pie was a 4 of 5 on my key lime “richter-scale” and to be honest most people would send back my perfect key lime pie for being unbearably strong.
The perfect downtown Atlanta spot for locals and visitors. Yup, perfect in every way.
Absolutely loved it! Server great and friendly! Rainbow trout and pork tenderloins were so delicious. Everything had such lovely gourmet touch. Portions generous. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Bourbons were great! Will definitely recommend this!
It's was ok wish the brunch menu had more selections
Took over 5 minutes for the server to acknowledge we were there and then took over 10 minutes to get our cocktails. The Server was not very attentive and to be honest a jerk so paid for our drinks and left. The place looked nice but with so many options around downtown Atlanta I will not be back.
