Beyond exceptional. Each plate was simply perfect; I cannot think of a way to improve anything. We had: devilled eggs, boar belly, salad (special), bison flat iron, pork jowls (special), and the bone marrow. Dessert: milk&honey combo, and brioche bread pudding.

Was there for brunch. Had good options although none of us were a fan of the hash browns. A bit too crispy/fried. But the veggie Benedict was delicious

I came here with a group of friends for my birthday. We are all foodies. Everything we ordered was delicious!! We tried wild bore, venison lasagna, duck poutine, rabbit saddle, iron steak, horse tar tar, chicken, green beans and cornbread. I recommend everything! Playing was on point and the food flavour combo was a hit! I will def be back!!

Very impressed. Our server was amazing. He recommended the "omasake" where they decide what you eat, which was awesome because it made us try new things we have never had before and probably would never order on our own. The food was fantastic. Still having dreams about it. Had the best Old Fashioned I've ever had as well. 12/10 would highly recommend.

My friends and I, in Vancouver to begin a cruise, went to experience game at this venue in Gastown. The horse tartare was good, the bone marrow was great but you don't need the sherry add-on. Two of us tried the saddle of rabbit (excellent), the other opted for the game lasagna...this dish was disappointing, it looked like an enchilada and was just okay. The service was slow and spotty... I think we'd only come back during happy hour for drinks and appetizers.

The steak was fabulous albeit pricey. I wasn’t sure the fuss over the Old Fashions was warranted. I like the ambience.

Outstanding meal. I have a number of allergies and the chefs at Wildebeest came up with 6 dishes that wow'd my tastebuds!! My husband was equally impressed. Our server was personable and very knowledgeable on the menu. Pricey, but oh so worth it! I will definitely be recommending Wildebeest to friends & family. Almost can't wait to go back to Vancouver for another meal at Wildebeest! Only negative for me was the location. It's not far from the "rougher" part of Vancouver.

this is a very nice spot! Our server was wonderful and the bottomless mimosas are a great deal!

The only negative thing I would say is that the tomato and burrata salad is very small. BUT it is delicious.

What an amazing meal! Tell them your budget, and they prepare an amazing meal that is beyond flavourful! You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied. The dishes are rustic but refined, inventive and locally sourced. The service is by far some of the best I have ever had. Don’t be afraid to be adventurous here, it will be well rewarded! I suggest the bone marrow with a bone luge to follow!

I had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. The host and waitstaff were very accommodating and made some wonderful menu suggestions. I went for a Long Island Iced Coffee cocktail to start. I had never seen that on a cocktail menu before and it did not disappoint. I then ordered the bone marrow with roasted mushrooms and leeks (next time I think I will get the optional scrambled eggs to go with it) and Guinness doughnuts. It was a wonderful meal! I can't wait to come back again!

This was my first time to Wildebeest and I can't wait to go back! The staff are amazing! Super friendly, knowledgeable about all aspects of the menus, no problems recommending things and genuinely seemed happy that we were there.
The food is out of this world good! From the smoked olives to get your palate warmed up, to the appetizers (we had the heirloom tomato salad and sweetbreads on toast) and on the mains (we shared the 22 oz cache creek ribeye, miso glazed green beans and duck sausage poutine) everything was so flavorful and just delicious!
The wine list is great, lots of options and price-points and the Old Fashioned I had was exceptional.
Wildebeest is now my favourite restaurant in Vancouver!
