We had not been for awhile but it was just as excellent as we remember. The chopped salad is still a signature and full of flavor, while the prime rib was succulent and fresh. The stormy night drinks were on point and mixed perfectly. Wonderful evening out for my wife and I. Last but not least, Pablo was an absolutely great host and it was a pleasure being served by him. We will be back soon!

My wife and I have been patrons of Wildfire in Eden Prairie for probably 20 years. We like the ambiance and decor, and have considered it to be a reliably "good" steakhouse with good service and good food. Ever since the COVID pandemic this place has not been as reliable. For one thing, they cut down the menu including the really great tableside salad we used to love. Last Saturday (May 27) we had dinner at Wildfire. The service was so-so, with long wait times. We both ordered steaks (filet and NY strip) cooked medium. My wife ordered the roasted vegetables, and I the au gratin potatoes. While waiting for our food we were disappointed they seemed to have quit the tasty corn bread and brought out two little onion-sprinkled buns instead. Our steaks arrived, both way overcooked, past well done. The Brussels sprouts in the vegetable mix were either charred beyond recognition or too hard to chew (reject produce). This was Saturday evening and the B or even C squad must have been in the kitchen. We did not complain to the wait person, knowing this would be our forum. Dear Wildfire, please step up your game. If you are going to charge me 50 bucks for a piece of meat and a side vegetable (plus a 3% "surcharge", another pandemic hangover that should go away), you have a lot of nerve serving me substandard food and anything less than stellar service. We may not have given up on you yet, but I could have trouble convincing my wife to come back any time soon.

Everything was fabulous! From the drinks to dinner and ever the rolls. The wait staff is a well oiled machine everyone is very friendly! You want for nothing and everything moves along at a great pace. It been a long time since I had such a good meal out. It was a great experience and worth every penny paid!

Our server, Lawrence, was, I would have to say, average. I have dined at this restaurant for years, and this is probably the first time I felt that my server did not adequately do their best job to ensure we were well taken care of. A few of the subtle jokes he made were taking a bit off guard and were checking in as a bit rude. I have been working in the hospitality industry as a bartender, server, and dining room manager for 17 years. This was by far one of the most awkward services I've had. Everything about the day was great. We celebrated my birthday, which has nothing to do with the service. The food ,was excellent, as always.

Our server was excellent. Prompt and attentive, not intrusive. The ambience is lovely but a bit too darkly lit. The filet and prime rib had excellent flavor but were lukewarm. Baked potato not warm enough to melt butter. We have dined here at least a dozen times and this was our first negative experience.

Fine food for my group of 8, and good drinks. We were seated just where I asked for, and service was OK. We were less than pleased when they refused to make accommodations for a special drink ordered by a guest who had asked for a brandy Alexander, even though vanilla ice cream, brandy and crème de cacao were all at hand. She had just learned that she had terminal cancer, and under the circumstances, I’d have payed anything to grant her this one pleasure. Surely a quick trip to the kitchen for an immersion blender wasn’t out of the question, but apparently it was too much to ask on this quiet evening.

we had just finished our salad and bread when the server came out with our meal. he did not take our salad plates or anything off of the table to make room for our main meal. he almost sat the dinner plates on top of our other plates and all three of us had to quickly grab and hold them so he could set the dinner plates down. so there we sat holding one or two plates each until he took them. not good.

Disappointing visit. Restaurant was packed so some allowance must be made. Unfortunately our server seemed over burdened and rather put upon. Requests politely made but not responded to in a timely fashion. Food was okay but perhaps not worth the price. (Broccoli, for example was so hard it was inedible.) Given the crowd we chose not to complain. We left a generous tip. Not sure we will return.

Our waiter Nick made it a festive time, helpful and full of suggestions and let us enjoy our cocktail before putting in our order. The crusted halibut was the absolute best I've had, flavorful, full of nutty texture, and plentiful. The creamed spinach on the side is such a treat and yummy. The other entree of plank roasted salmon was also delicious, with just right scalloped potatoes. The key lime pie and cappuccino topped off a lovely meal. Thanks for making Mother's Day a treat.
