Our server was excellent!
We have been to Wildfire Oakbrook a handful of times but we were disappointed with this last trip. My husband’s steak was not cooked well- burned on the outside, rare on the inside. Not acceptable for the price. The support staff was excellent, but our waiter was mediocre. The service was slow. Will likely be awhile before we return again.
The evening was excellent - the food was superior and the service was amazing. A memorable occasion.
Thurs 1/17 12:15pm business lunch. Restaurant was busy, seated promptly. Friendly front staff. Great food, large portions, excellent service, good value. Fun dining experience.
Last two times we dined it’s been close to an hour to get our food. Not sure what is going on there.
I have always enjoyed Wildfire. My grand daughter turned 21 and I took her there for a birthday celebration. The entire evening was great. We were seated (I had made reservations) within 10 minutes. We got a really nice booth. Our server, Paula, was exceptional. She helped my grand daughter pick out a cocktail and a steak. She even surprised her with a birthday cake. I had the seafood platter and roasted vegetables which were excellent. All in all it was a great night. Thanks for making her birthday memorable.
Consistently a solid choice! Great for any occasion! Will be back again soon!
Delicious 3 filet special with your choice of crusts. Others ordered prime rib and NY steaks also with rave reviews. Martinis were cold and delicious. We all tasted the birthday girl’s lava cake which was presented with a candle. One of my favorite “go to” restaurants with friends.
I was a little disappointed. My steak is usually perfect, but this time it was a little too rare instead of medium well. My husband’s fish was also really pink inside and did not have any lemon flavor at all when it was supposed to be lemon piccata. The bread and potatoes were cold too. This was my birthday dinner and it was a bit disappointing. :(
Great place with outstanding food and service. Sometimes the wait is too long but that is because it is so good to eat there. Reservations are a must. You will wait a long time without one. Highly recommended.
Exceptional. Our servers and table staff were attentive and took care of my young daughters (4 & 5) every need. Michelle made awesome drinks and always makes you feel at home. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was outstanding.
The food, ambiance, and service were very exceptional. Loved my dining experience.
Great food good ambiance great customer service
Great food, great service and fun atmosphere.
Wonderful restaurant and got a delicious brownie for our anniversary! Had a wonderful time!
Ordered daily fish offering, Cod...was a very small portion...like Lake Perch small...
Like the restaurant though...I'll stick to the general menu next visit.
I had a intimate birthday dinner here. The food was amazing. The service was top notch. I can't wait to go back. Every one needs to try the mashed potatoes! The best I've ever had in life.
Second time there, and this time it was a bit disappointing. My fellow diner had to send her steak back because her medium well steak came out very pink in the middle. It took a LONG TIME! Meanwhile, I ate and completed my dinner before her steak was brought back. So both of us ended up eating along. Not ideal, and very off putting. Not an apology or offer to reduce cost or offer a free dessert or coffee or anything.
Not sure I will be back
Had a 5:45 res. For 12. We weren’t seated until about 6:10. We had 4 children with us so was hard to corral them in the foyer. We were seated and ordered the kids meals before we even ordered drinks. About 15 minutes later when we received our drinks, we also put our order in. Unfortunately, it took over an hour to get our food. And all of the food came out together, even though we had placed kids order 15 minutes before ours. Food was good, just not great like i remember it . 1/2 of our party had to leave before desserts because it was getting too late for their kids. The whole dinner from the time we arrived and left was 2.5 hours.
This was our second visit at the restaurant, first time was wonderful. This time, each meal was cooked wrong and the overall experience was beyond disappointing. A rare (ordered medium rare) filet, TINY lobster tail, over cooked bone in rib eye, raw burger and a subpar $15 Caesar salad. With the open table reservation we were given the worst table in the restaurant, on the side of the main dining room where everybody is squeezed in like sardines & I was hit 12x by servers or other customers trying to squeeze by. Will not be dining here again, regret celebrating a family birthday here!
My ribs were burned and I was very upset but I didn’t address it at the time which I should have
When we were there, we were in the back of the restaurant and it was sooooo cold, patrons had their coats on, including 2 of us from our party. The tables were so close my husband was being pushed into by waiters and patrons walking through, we couldn't move our table any further towards us because we were on a wall. We frequent Wildfire quiet abit and this is the first time our visit was not so up to par.
Qent for our Anniversary and everything was great. The service was great, the food was amazing. We enjoy our entire experience.
Wildfire is very hit or miss. We like the menu and the gluten free options are good. Drink options are varied and good.
I really enjoyed my birthday dinner here! Food was incredible! The service was exceptional!
Great food and service!
I haven't been here in a while....what a change in atmosphere, service and clientele!
First of all, when you request a cozy booth for a special occasion and you have had reservations for weeks, don't sit people in the crowded, noisy, bar that is freezing. It was no more than 20 degrees outside and snowing. The air was already cool inside plus there was a cold breeze running across my legs from the front door, I'm guessing. People were eating in their coats and winter hats. They couldn't accommodate for Valet that evening because of the snow? I had to stand in front of the hostess stand for a few minutes before she would even look up and acknowledge me. The woman that seating us was less than friendly. Our server was friendly and prompt for how busy it was, but seriously, get some new material. Be genuine. We got really tired of hearing her repeat the same lines to every table around us.
The food was average. You could tell the bone in rib-eye was definitely not good quality, but it was only $43, so there was no need to complain. It was cooked to medium perfectly as requested. You get what you pay for. Which brings me to my next point....the clientele. Wow! The attire of quite a few women was low class for a strip club! Also, when I went to the restroom there was a woman leaning up against one of the sinks screaming and cursing at her significant other on the phone and completely taking up a sink. The restroom is not large enough to accommodate 4 customers to begin with. She was wearing a crop top and painted on jeans. Classy. She was in there on her cell phone for no less than 15 minutes.
Very disappointing experience.
Our server, Orlando was amazing!!!!!
Enjoyed the meal at Wildfire, the service was great.
Food and service was excellent!! Our waitress was phenomenal. She never rushed us. I loved how she spaced the appetizers, the meal and deserts out. This place is the best!!
They have a great gluten free menu!! They make their own gf bread and it is soooo good!!! Will be returning. It’s so yum
The host and hostess were direct and not at all welcoming. Quality of food seems to have become just okay. For the price did not feel we had a very good experience. Probably take this off list of places to dine.
They pack you in like sardines but the food and service are well worth it.
Have been to this restaurant many times. Service has gotten worse over time, way too long of wait for quick dinner. Had a reservation early on Friday @ 5 pm. Got there early, about 4:30, and asked if we could be seated. Was told by front desk we would have to wait until 5 to be seated. Problem was, other people were being seated after we sat down at the bar. Finally got seated, at 5:15, way in the back next to several large tables of people. Asked if we could be at a booth or table in another part of the restaurant. Complained to manager and about all he said was "sorry, " then walked away. Wait for salads and appetizers way too long (30 minutes ?) as the case has been the last few times we have been here. To many restaurant choices in Oakbrook and nearby in this price range to be treated with such poor service. Note to manager, "Sorry" , we will go to Gibson's, Perry's or Seasons 52 from now on.
just a very good place for food and drink and conversations with friends
Disappointed in quality and size portions of food. Over-cooked and small for the price. We’ve been dining at Wildfire for years and it has changed-less food, greater price. Too bad.
Our waiter, Anthony, was absolutely the best!
Dined here for my birthday but have been here many times before. It was as amazing as always. The food is awesome, staff was wonderful and very courteous.
The food is excellent but it is quite noisy in the main dining room. The service was fantastic and I guess my only complaint is that the seating in the main dining room is very tight. The tables are very close together and really tight near the bar.
The drink selection was quite good.
Excellent dining experience. Difficulty in parking and getting to restaurant is one of the drawbacks. But over all and outstanding experience.
