Waited only 12 minutes for our table, everything was excellent as was the food, no problems. Server was extremely nice
We didn’t get our table on time. There was still about 10 minutes wait time. Nice quiet location. Unfortunately the food seemed too salty. We have been to Wildfire before but this was not the best food experience. Onion soup was salty, main dish “fish” was also very salty. Needed refills on my drink 3 times because it made me so thirsty. Would definitely give it a try but maybe at a different location.
Server hardly came to table, water glasses were not filled throughout dining experience, did not even know servers name as she never introduced herself, really surprised at hostess attire (workout leggings should not be acceptable as part of uniform), food was great but often felt forgotten about.
Wildfire never disappoints. Food is great quality. Service is friendly and competent. Noise level is always a bit more than I would like but that is to be expected because it is a busy place.
65th birthday for my husband. The Stubstout beer was very good!!
I am a long time Wildfire patron which is why my last experience there was so disappointing. Someone in my party ordered the burger, which looked like it came from Five Guys. It was a tiny patty and it really was not anything great - was average and disappointing (in terms of size). Much better and larger burgers can be found at Harry Caray's and even Portillo's. What a shame that a basic comfort food selection went down the drain here. Also, we were seated in the bar and wanted to watch the Blackhawks game. The server tried to find the channel, but was unsuccessful and said he would try again after welcoming another table. Someone else at the restaurant (not the bartender) found the channel and then changed it again. Our server said "maybe someone was watching the other game". I looked around at all the tables around us and at the patrons at the bar and no one was watching the non-local college basketball game that was on. The bar cleared out after about 45 minutes and I thought surely our server would try to look for the game again - no such luck and honestly we got tired of asking. I looked for a passing manager to advise of the situation and no one ever came by. I was just frustrated with the situation and gave up. Things like this are so simple - the little things count for your customers. There are many other very good restaurant choices out there for us from which to choose, so I don't understand why Wildfire takes their patrons for granted. I now know that Wildfire doesn't really care about its customers' overall experience, which is a shame. I won't be giving them anymore of my business anytime soon.
Seven large adults were put at a round table meant for maybe 5-6! We were up against a wall and block in so tightly other diners had to get up and move their chairs when someone needed a bathroom. Too many large table next to each other. Service people had a hard time getting in to our table and we didn’t get offered more water . There were empty table but Too many large groups were crowded next to each other. Will not go there again unless it’s 4 people or less
Great service and overall good experience . I would recommend this location to all.
Our waitress was excellent. Never hovered over us but was aways there when you wanted something. I wish I could remember her name. I would ask for her again.
The staff and our waitress Marget were great. Also got to see Carol Bates.
Consistently good food. Good gluten free options. My only wish is that it was less noisy.
I was looking forward to having lunch for my birthday with my co-workers and boss. We got to the restaurant on time and was seating in the far back room. The room held about 12 tables total. The water boy brought water right away. There was two girls working the room, neither one of them acknowledged us at the table or looked our way. A Group of 3 ladies came in about 10 minutes after us and I glanced over and noticed that they had drinks and bread at their table. Finally after 20 minutes, I went to the hostess desk and complained. She came back with me, looked at the table and walked away. Within seconds a waiter came from another area and waited on us. I have no complaint with him (Orion) however, from when we sat down, until an hour later, we got the salad that we ordered. When our food came, one of the girls got fries instead of veggies and the waiter (not our waiter) brought her the correct side. They didn't stop to ask if everything was ok, I finally had to ask the water boy to bring me some mustard for my burger. I expect better of Wildfire. There are a lot of places to dine in Oakbrook, my experience leads me to try another restaurant.
Our reservation was at 7:00 but we weren't seated until 7:20. Our server was excellent. He gave us a lot of information about the food choices. He checked on us very consistently and made sure we didn't need anything. For some reason our food took a really long time, so long that he ended up comping our dessert. It was well worth the wait as everything was delicious. We will be back soon!
We had a reservation but still waited over 20 minutes to be seated... Our waiter was very good. Food came out great as expected. The wait before seating was very frustrating but other than that everything was great.
