Everything was delicious ...
We keep coming back. Todd, our server was awesome! Always enjoy the food and service. Patio looks really pleasant so we will try it next time!
Food was very good. Our server Lindsey was fantastic!!!
Wonderful eatery. Excellent martinis. Amazing scallops. This is a steakhouse and the reason I booked a reservation a few weeks beforehand. However, come this evening, we opted for fish and chicken. WOW!!! The ambiance and decor is very nice. It even has a patio. It was still a little too early in the season for us to dine al fresco given how laid back/how much time we would be spending for dinner. But they do have one, and it is nice. Our server was very good and recommended a great place to go to afterwards to listen to some music and play some pool - which we did! We do not live in Oshawa, but if passing through again, we would definitely make it our "go to" - whether for lunch or dinner!
Food & service was awesome! Would definitely go again. Better than the keg!
Very good food with good drink options. Nice atmosphere and good service.
We all commented on the openness of the space because of the large windows and also how quiet it was, allowing us to carry on conversations comfortably. The steaks were excellent.
Dinner was good but one of us ordered her steak well done but got medium well. This was a birthday celebration and the waiter Justin was very good and brought a dessert with a sparkler and did comp the dessert which we did not expect.
Anniversary, they treated us very special with a glass of champagne and a delicious desert.
I had ordered an amber beer and was given a red. The waitress said it was Amber. It was not.
Another of our group had ordered sweet potato fries and received regular. That was rectified.
The food was very good.
But also the noise level was high.
Food was delicious, service very friendly and attentive, as always. Only complaint is noise level was high, couldn't even hear the music. Next time we'll sit outside.
Amazing experience! Went above and beyond to make our anniversary special and the food was fantastic!
Service was slow, the food was mediocre at best. They were out of several of the items we ordered; from the wine and beer to the mains, there seemed to be a rehearsed excuse for not having menu items.
The server and hostess were great. The food was only ok. I ordered the fish tacos and was surprised to see only two lonely tacos and a lemon wedge on the large rectangular plate. A small amount of salad would have made the presentation better plus might have been a bit more filling since the tacos only had a small piece of fish, a couple would have been better. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant, portions too small and priced a little high.
I never leave reviews but this was truly one of the better experiences i have had at a restaurant. Customer service was exceptional!! Servers were undoubtedly the best i have encountered in a very long time and food was great. Would absolutely go back and recommend.
Love the food, excellent selection of wines, good desserts, good service most of the time, but prices are not a match for the place. Either it needs a whole remodeling to match the prices or these have to go down. Yes, I would recommend the place...but warn about the really high prices that don't go hand in hand with the place as such.
Friendly but fairly clueless waiter served us at what OpenTable had seemed to indicate would be Mother's Day brunch, but turned out just to be a regular service that opened a little earlier than usual. They mixed up our kid's order, got confused about the specials & accidentally double charged us for our kids' drinks.
Their seared scallops were tasty, and they have a very good grilled caesar salad, but it's served on way to small a plate to be able to comfortably carve it up. The kids noodles were bland, and the wrong order was brought out for our other child.
They made good on their mistakes and comped us two appetizers, but this wasn't what we had in mind when we headed out for a Mother's Day meal.
Excellent service, food, atmosphere. Great place to go and have a nice dinner.
Fantastic steak, 4 cheese dip and creme brulee!!! Great service. Brought my mother for mother's day and she LOVED it. They were incredibly busy as it was the Saturday of the mother's day weekend but they still managed to deliver great food and service.
We had a great evening at wildfire thanks to Lindsey k and Patti. The food , and service was incredible.
You could not have been better!
From the recommendations from Lindsey on the menu , she knows her business.
Extremely welcoming right from the front door until the time you leave.
Definitely will be back!
Amazing service my mom and I love it. Great food was perfect for our special occasuon
Our first experience at Wildfire was a memorable one. Despite arriving at 9:00pm, with the restaurant closing in an hour, the place was still busy - a good sign. We ordered the top sirloin steak with bleu cheese butter and the blackened tilapia with pineapple salsa. Both were outstanding. We also opted for the pommery mashed potatoes on the side - a must-try! The expansive wine selection was impressive and we were very pleased with the Pinot Noir. The delicious crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal!
I have been recommending this place since our visit. I believe it is better than the keg in every way.
Wine was good. Food was average. Waiter was forgetful.
A lovely lazy lunch on a Saturday. Our server was genuinely nice guy interested in ensuring all our needs were catered to. Even surprised us with comp Prosecco at the end of the meal.
Loved the Piri-Piri Chicken breast - though many things on the menu looked great!
Overall great experience. Went with my wife for our anniversary and we were provided with complimentary champagne and desert; it was a very nice touch and appreciated.
Very enjoyable easy to make reservations service was really good didn't feel rushed very accommodating for the menu
NY Striploin was a terrible cut of meat, very disappointed. The meat was tough fatty and gristle, terrible. Waitress offered to replace the steak. The hostess asked how we asked for it to be cooked, we said medium, to which she replied "you should have asked for medium-well because the extra cooking time softens the meat." What a ridiculous statement, I will never go back to a Wildfire Steakhouse.
First off I'd like to say that the staff was fantastic. The hostess was super friendly and engaging, and our waiter was great as well. The main issue was the food. The steak order was burnt and charcoal tasting on the outside. I ordered the bean burger and it had no taste, the asparagus was the best part and there were maybe 3 pieces on the burger.
Overall staff was great food was not, for the price of the meal I was not impressed by the taste or flavour.
Took our team for lunch. The service was great and our server was very knowledgeable and passionate in making excellent recommendations. The food was great!
We attended the Wildfire Grill in Oshawa as a party of four to celebrate the 84th birthday of a member of our group. This was not the first time we had dined at the Wildfire Grill in Oshawa. On all previous occasions the meal was exceptional. Unfortunately on this particular occasion one of the two $56 rib steaks ordered by our group, while cooked as ordered, was quite chewy and lacking in the expected flavor. A little over half of this steak was left unfinished at the end of the meal. Our server offered a fresh steak, but as every one was now finished their meal we declined. The manager authorized the server to provide our party with complementary desserts as compensation. I would note that a similar situation at the Keg restaurant would have resulted in the cost of that steak being deducted from the bill.
Very nice. Modern decor with exposed brick and bare lumber accents everywhere.
Fantastic service. Waiter recommended the pickerel which was awesome.
Not too big, very professional sophisticated atmosphere.
Nice and quiet allowing for dinner conversation.
Wr went for my wife's birthday and from the time we got there the staff wad extremely accommodating and helpful. The server was prompt and patient when needed. The food was served very fast and was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend.
Fantastic service. Delicious food. Our server remembered us from our previous meal there a couple of months ago and was very helpful explaining wine options to go with a keto diet. Will definitely return.
Before going I had read a lot of positive reviews so I had high expectations. We arrived and were seated promptly. The staff was pleasant and we placed our order. Our appetizer arrived and while it was nice it was nowhere near hot. Our entrée came and both steaks were noticeably undercooked. My wife had ordered mushrooms to accompany her steak they did not arrive and we had to ask for them. The waitress then brought two servings, I had not ordered them and we were charged for both. My wife and I both thought that for a steakhouse with fairly steep prices the food could have been nicer. There are much better local restaurants for this kind of money.
Had a gift card for here so it was our first time. We loved it still thinking about the steak the next day, will definitely be going again.
Very friendly staff made our anniversary special and very accommodating with our kids. Food was awesome too
We were not thrilled with the grilled ceasar salad, tasted like grit or sand in it. I would not order this again. Our steaks were good, veggies good but I did not really like the garlic mashed potatoes.
Very good food and excellent service. One of the filet mignon was over cooked but they changed it very quickly and gave us a very good break on the final bill for our troubles. Would recommend although a little pricy but worth it
