No Menu Monday was fantastic! Each surprise course was delicious and our server was well informed and attentive to our needs. Thanks to Workshop Kitchen for a memorable evening.

Tried the three course set menu for my mom’s birthday. Truly a disappointment. The first course was a radish salad with overly salty pork bits that I sent back. Second course I had the sirloin tip. That was very mediocre at best. My mom had the rock cod. It was tasteless and dry. We sent the rock cod back and ordered the chicken tagine which was acceptable. For dessert we shared the chocolate fondant. None of the items were memorable. I came to this restaurant last year and ordered the mussels and a molten lava chocolate cake. Those items were phenomenal. Not sure what happened this year. Perhaps the head chef is no longer there. Fully disappointed. Over priced. Will not recommend or return again.

We had the improv menu after our server recommended that this is what Workshop is known for. Although you do not have to order this way, I highly recommend it. It makes for a fun and unique dining experience. The server was able to recall every item on the plate without prompt for each of our 5 dishes, and was able to easily answer any questions, he really went above and beyond to make the experience one to remember. We will certainly be coming back!

Great food. Cauliflower was excellent, as was the Taco-styled salad and rice pudding. The enchilada was a bit average, and the lettuce had some brown parts (which is odd for a restaurant), but overall I was impressed and would go back.

Excellent value Lougheed lunch with colleagues. Delicious soup and main fish course. Portions were perfect for lunch. There was no room for the brownie, so we bagged that for a treat the next day! Overall, a very lovely meal and all done in about an hour.

Excellent food and great service.
I was advised to always try the daily special - this is my second time having the seafood feature and both have been amazing. Try this place- you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my go-to spots for weekday lunch, girls night, anniversary dinner, etc. Highly recommend the Lougheed Lunch - it's a great value! Their Improv menu is a great dinner option, too - I've never been disappointed by the courses or the pairings!

Casual but fine dining. Creative use of colour, tastes and textures. The braise itself (Lougheed lunch) can carry the menu.

Food was flavorful, carefully prepared and creatively presented. Some of the best dishes we have ever had. The excellent quality is matched with a high price.

Seriously fantastic. We had the three course tasting menu with wine pairings. We swapped the dessert for the cheese dish. Simply incredible experience.

Fabulous experience from beginning to end. Jennifer was an outstanding waitress and recommended having the trout as half the fish, rather than all rockfish. We shared the fish plate with the fried brussel sprouts. Every part of the meal had depth of flavour and the trout was absolutely amazing - literally melt in your mouth. We loved it all, the sprouts were sweet, the beet jam, the pakora, the rockfish - all amazing.
Great job Workshop kitchen and culture - the best meal we've had in years. We are on our way across the country and hope we get another meal of that standard before we hit Newfoundland - somehow I doubt it!

We enjoyed a marvelous meal. One of my guests enjoyed the 3 course Improv and the other the 5 course. The cuisine, presentation, and service (Bobby) were exquisite. I'm so pleased I chose to bring my out of town guests here. You did not disappoint. Many thanks!

We had an amazing experience for our wedding anniversary!! Bobby was an awesome server and the food was fantastic!! What we found even more exceptional was that the staff filled out a card for our anniversary; we would highly recommend friends, family, strangers ;) to visit for an incredible night out!

Unfortunately the kitchen was out of 3 of 6 of their main dishes including the two I’d been eying. So that was disappointing. The food we did get was creatively combined ingredients and delicious. Our waiter often didn’t stay at the table long enough for me to ask for what I wanted and wasn’t very personable. The wine wasn’t great but my cocktail was awesome. Great atmosphere. I’d try it again and hope they actually have everything on their menu.

Food was good. Maybe I should have been more adventurous I went with a sandwich. Lol
It was alright,
The most notable thing was the service. The Hostess was so nice, as was the server. Great bubbly fun personalities and made light conversation which seems to be often falling to the wayside these days. I’d definitely go back and try something more exciting off the menu

LOVE this place. Service is excellent. Food is so creative. They manage to make even food I normally dislike into something I can't eat enough of. Menu is always changing, and gets better with every visit. Also they are very accommodating (and not judgemental) about dietary requests. The daily braise at lunch is outstanding for us carnivores. Must try.
