Hadn’t been to Zambri’s until New Years Eve. Have been back 3 times since then. Great food. Love the pasta! Friendly staff.
Delicious meal! Slow service but a nice chap waiting on us. I will happily return.
Our server was fantastic. There was a delay in our dinner order and she came over, apologized and refilled our wine glasses without charge. The perfect topper to an otherwise perfect meal in a great place. Good value for the money.
There was puke in the woman’s washroom. Making my wife’s dinner less appealing. The appetizer was fried mozzarella with 3 small pieces which I found over priced even though it was good tasting 5 would of been better. It was cold inside keeping coats on. We did really enjoy the feel of the place. The steak we had was great and pizza was good. The served was hard to find only coming to check up on are table a couple times.
Good lighting, interesting menu options. Kind staff.
Food was ok, somewhat bland and could have been hotter. Waitstaff are excellent and knowledgeable. Over 150$ for two people (wine included) for an ok dining experience. Very loud and no privacy the tables. May not have been at their best as it was a busy Valentine’s Day.
Our clam sauce rose' pasta was lacking any hint of any pieces of clam or any other pieces of sea creatures, it did taste "fishy" though - real fishy and not very pleasing to the taste. I know Feb the 14th is a busy day for them but this meal was a complete failure on their part. We only ate about 1/4 of our meal - wine was good though..
The service and food were great. We never felt rushed even though it was Valentine's day supper. And we could actually talk to each other. Great dining experience - we'll be back!
Excellent pizza in a town with lots of serious competition. Excellent salad. We were out for a film so grateful for getting in and out in an hour, without feeling rushed.
First time...I'll be back :). our waiter was fabulous!
The atrium is nice for dinner...wide open and quiet enough to hold a good conversation. The food was tasty and well presented and the server was friendly and efficient. I would recommend Zambris and will put it on my list for a return visit.
We usually eat at Zambri’s at least once on every trip to Victoria( twice a year minimum visits per year). We have never been disappointed. We loved the person who served us on Friday night. I am sorry we did not get her name. The restaurant is always a lively place to eat, but never to loud for us and we have difficulty hearing each other in loud restaurants. Innovative and delicious Italian food here for sure, and Italian food is our favourite so we are quite fussy. It has to be good!Zambri’s never disappoints!
Zambri's is a lovely place to have a dinner date. The food was excellent and I will certainly go again!
Our table was ready, and our service was prompt, with just the right amount of attentiveness so as not to be intrusive.
Tasty food and drink options left all satisfied. We enjoyed a brief stroll to the Royal for a nice evening out.
Nice food, location, staff...
The service and the food at Zambri's is always predictable - and excellent. My favourite place for lunch!
We were pleasant greeted served by Haida and Jo. The service and food was fantastic! I always enjoy stopping here for the delicious food, ambiance and hospitality!
I don't know why we haven't come here sooner. Will definitely be a regular dinner choice. Great food and super accommodating.
Always a favourite. Great food, service, location, ambience.
Went with friends for the Dine-Around menu. The place was bustling, so was glad we had reservations. We had cocktails and choose from the Dine-Around menu. Two of us had arancini (deep fried rice balls with cheese and a sauce) and two had salads with prosciutto. All delicious. Even though there were several very tempting options for the main, we all had rigatoni with pork shoulder and asiago cheese. So good--hot and comforting on a winter night. Two dessert options were offered. Gelato is what I had, and I think the other was a chocolate panna cotta. Both very good.
This is one of my fave places to eat out in Victoria. It can be a bit too noisy (lots of hard surfaces), which is annoying, but the noise is from people talking and general background noise, not overly-loud music.
I have eaten at Zambi's many times over the years and have always enjoyed the food and their excellent service. Unfortunately, the meal I had recently was quite mediocre. Perhaps it's because of the set menu for Dine Around Victoria, which I decided to have. This was not a good decision as I found the quality of the meal only so-so, particularly the main course with the beef being tough and rather tasteless. However, I think if I had stayed with their pasta or pizza options from the main menu it would have been fine.
Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was delicious! I would definitely eat here again, however it was very loud when the restaurant filled up.
We were seated out in the breeze way which I preferred (quieter)
Service was excellent, very attentive staff, did the dine-around $30 menu, a good deal (a little more pork would have been nice)
Panda cotta delish
I highly recommend this restaurant
You know us - we love Zambri’s - likely 200 visits and counting.
Zambri's is popular and busy at lunch so make a reservation. All of the high ceilings and tall glass windows, combined with the concrete pillars contribute to the noise level. This creates an ambiance of high energy for the business crowd but makes conversation difficult for seniors. We four seniors appreciated being seated next to the window overlooking the atrium courtyard. Service here is excellent: prompt, attentive, and cheerful. Three ordered pizzas: prosciutto, funghi, and pepperoni. All were crisp and well topped although the prosciutto was felt to be very thin. Sides of olive oil & balsamic, and the fennel & potato daily feature were deemed good. I ordered the gnocchi with house made sausage and tomato sauce (average) and paired it with a very pleasing glass of Collesecco Montepulciano D'Abruzia Cantina Tollo. For me the best part of the lunch was the wine. We opted for Macchiatos over dessert. I would be willing to give Zambri's a try at dinner.
No matter how many times I frequent the restaurant, there is always something that pleasantly surprises me. consistently outstanding service and food.
Tasty food at a fair price. Friendly staff.
I took my partner out for a special date night to Zambri’s and did not receive the level of service that one would expect from such a nice restaurant. The food was excellent, but that’s only part of the experience! We felt forgotten and it took a while between our courses, with no check-ins after our appetizers
We had to wait to be seated for our reservation. We started with a bottle of wine at the bar though. It took two tries to get the bartenders attention. Once seated though, the bartender tended to our table and was quite lovely.
This was my second time eating at Zambri’s. The first time was not good. I sent my food back for being over salted. I decided to give it another try. The food was better, but not spectacular. Overall....I enjoyed myself because I was with a great companion....but we both ate less than half of our pasta.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends during Dine Around Victoria. The special menus offered tasty choices at good value. The service was great.
Always a beautiful meal, lovely setting, it’s one of my favourite restaurants.
Always a great place to go with a friend. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. It was my friends first time to Zambri's and he loved it. A local favourite for me.
Excellent meal. Tables set up well so we felt we had our own space.
It's always noisy but I guess folks are having fun.
We had an early dinner before the theatre. I always enjoy Zambri's. Two of our party were using wheelchairs and staff were helpful and courteous.
Accessible with accessible washroom.
We had a very lovely, light pasta business lunch. Food was delicious. Service was great; slightly slow to get the bill to us, but otherwise, fabulous!
Quality of pasta, salad and soup seriously declined from my previous visit several years ago. Mediocre and boring.
The service and food were spectacular. Best pasta, ever always. Generous, without overwhelming. Wine selection diverse and delicious. The only down side is the noise level which makes it difficult to visit easily with friends. A Go-To restaurant always.
Our first experience at Zambri’s. My wife ordered the chicken thigh meal. She enjoyed the chicken but the potatoes were very dull. She ordered the crispy broccoli as a side and enjoyed it. I had the rack of lamb. My potatoes were cooked differently and they were excellent. The accompanying artichoke hearts were very nice but there were far to little. The overall value was good and our service was great.
The decor was very nice but nothing there absorbed the sound and it was very noisy. I don’t think that we will return.
Everything was top notch.
🌿So happy with our choice to celebrate New Year's dinner at Zambri's✨
