Exceptional service! This restaurant has amazing food at a decent price! The staff are absolutely wonderful and there for anything thing you could possibly need! Definitely will be visiting again!
Everyone enjoyed their meals. All was really good but I couldn't say it was uncharacteristically fantastic; no 'wow' factor. A good solid meal, you'll like it.
Again amazing food and service
Had a really nice date here. 2nd year anniversary with my girlfriend. We had a great meal and drink
Staff always friendly and food is always on point! 👌
Every time I visit Victoria I eat here. It was recommended to me & I’ve recommended to others.
Also suggested to make reservations
Lovely ambience, really good food and consistently attentive professional service
We were well looked after. The food was excellent. We actually arrived about an hour early and they gave us an option of taking a less-than-ideal seat or waiting at the bar for a better table to open up. We took the first option which was a mistake as we were right beside a concrete pillar with a noisey table on the other side of it. that was really the only downside to the meal.
Great dishes. Everything we ordered was special and tasted great. Good local BC wines. Pork loin and Steaks were cooked to perfection. Dandelion salad was unique and flavorful. Service was speedy and friendly.
Great food, great service, but so noisy we couldn’t hear each other or carry on a conversation.
Met a friend for lunch at 1:00pm. The lunch rush was over and not too many people in the restaurant but the ambient noise was more than it seemed it should have been. The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive. My friend had the Cobb Salad, I ordered the Meat of the day and salad special. My friend's Cobb was a little disappointing. The salad looked like a Caesar Salad with a whole boiled egg rolled in bread crumbs sitting in the middle. The romaine lettuce used should have been cut smaller, they were simply whole leaves. There was no other protein in the salad (meat or cheese) other than the boiled egg. There were 6 or 7 halved grapes and that was it. Somewhat underwhelming and a little hard to eat as the whole romaine leaves required some work to cut into manageable pieces. My Meat of the Day and salad consisted of a decent sized strip steak on a bed of broiled corn and creamy spinach. The steak was topped with a nice pile of arugula that covered all. The salad was a green salad with apples and a light cream dressing. It was very good, but looking at my entree plate and my salad plate, the presentation looked like just two plates of salad.
The portions were good and the prices were reasonable. Would I eat there again? Possibly, for dinner.
As good as ever
We had prompt and courteous service. Wait time for food and beverages was appropriate and the menu had varied selections to appeal to most tastes. A very good dining experience overall.
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Best food in town by far.
always amazing - such good food... never had a piece of fish I haven't loved and the pastas are always great
We were in Victoria for our honeymoon and went to Zambris based on a recommendation of a friend who had visited a year or so ago. I'm not sure what might have changed since his visit but we were not overly impressed. Our seating was for 730 and after ordering pizza and a steak entree our server came back to tell us they were all out of pizza, quite a disappointment given a large portion of their menu is pizza. The food was OK not wow as we would have expected.
Food was excellent and service was lovely. The waiter was very helpful and polite. We had salmon and it was very tasty. I definitely recommend this restaurant .
One of go-to places in Victoria ... great food and service.
Fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and professional, and the ambience was charming and sophisticated, not stuffy.
Great place for Italian food in Victoria. The food and drinks were delicious and service wonderful!
Great bar service, nice selection of Italian wines and good value for great food!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing (and delicious) time while dining at Zambris. Would highly recommend eating there and I hope I can make it back soon!
Zambris is consistently great Italian food and wine .. the uses of local vegetable, wild caught fish, and organic meats are combines with high quality olive oil and herbs and spices into flavourful
layered sauces. We all chose pastas and were not disappointed.. Wine pairings were well recommended and reasonably priced..
We had a great light dinner! Shared a number of different dishes.
Food was bland. Service was not friendly. As an OpenTable VIP, I was disappointed in Zambri's and will not return. Not only did they charge for bread, they charged for the olive oil to accompany the bread. I've dined at real Italian restaurants in Italy and was never asked to pay for bread or olive oil. Zambri's should go to school on that fact!
Very classy elegant restaurant with great food choices. Been coming for years and never disappoints
Went to Zambri's with my partner and another couple who are close friends. We had some excellent well prepared Italian style food and pizza, followed by an excellent selection of well prepared Italian deserts. Washed down with a nice carafe of local BC pinot noir, and later excellent espresso coffee and a grappa from a well stocked menu of top grappas. Service was very attentive and accommodating. Will definitely return.
My wife were here for our wedding anniversary. Very noisy place where conversation is almost impossible -- probably ok for younger screamin' bar-scene crowd.
Needed mid-week reservations and when seated the Service was good.
Food was tasty and presented well but way too pricey for very small quantities.
$85+tip for 1 shared pizza, 1 shared appy, 1/2 litre Gewürz', 2 small desserts, 2 coffees.
Wonderful food and great service! We sat on the patio for Sunday brunch and had a fantastic meal in the sunshine - thank you!
Very too noisy for a diner with your lover or friend!
Staff was friendly, food was great. Making reservation was simple
Always good food. The trio of vegetables changes daily and is recommended. Add a chicken cutlet if you need some protein. Pizzas are phenomenal. Fish specials on Friday are yummy. Is my go-to lunch restaurant for business lunches. It can be quite noisy when busy, so be prepared.
As always the wait and kitchen staff were simply at their best. We had an amazing brunch and no one left hungry.
We went for a family dinner 7 of us and had the best service and dinner, so we tried breakfast on my birthday and again the service and food were great.
Wine recommendation are top notch, pasta is perfect, ambience is great and authentic, but quiet talkers at your own table will need to speak up.
Bread/olive oil was a little slow in coming and too small for the table.
Really great dinner, great wine selection and a very well put together dinner menu. Great service and atmosphere. Thank you.
Four of us had a very fine experience at Zambri's. From the moment were greeted by Brett, who is a hard working and caring manager, to the prompt and attentive server who definitely knew her menu, to the delicious food and wines, everything was top drawer! We appreciated the work and variety in the menu and will have to come back for more! Happy Hour Appies were a plus!
Very good food. My wife loved her pasta and my chicken sandwich was great. Service was friendly and attentive.
Best pasta in Victoria. Always creative dishes along with tried and true standards.
The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Nice patio if weather permits.
Wines are well chosen and cocktails are creative.
All in all, Zambri’s is an always good choice. You will not be disappointed.
We ordered pizza's and were not let down at all. Very authentic!
We enjoy our bread at Italian restaurants and to our surprise, none was brought to us. No biggy, maybe it isn't complimentary or maybe the server forgot. Regardless, we just asked our server for a bread assortment and two different makes were given to us. One make of bread (the sourdough) was cold. I read a few reviews where people stated this, so I think that this may be how they present their bread. Again, really not a big deal at the end of the day.
The overall service was great.
The major let down was that we, unfortunately, sat right next to a family and two babies that were ... well quite loud to say the least. The babies were the only "real issue" I had with my experience at Zambri's and it is not their fault.
Will I go back? Maybe, but it is not high on my priority list.
