Extremely friendly service in a truly Italian trattoria. Food was copious and good. Don't be fooled by the dessert menu that makes one afraid they are frozen and done elsewhere: they are actually fresh and very good.

We had a great night at ZiZi. The food tasted great. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a streak that was so flavourful. My husband had the seafood pasta special and he enjoyed it. They try to make sure that you enjoy your experience. This was my second time and my husband’s first. We will be back.

My new go to restaurant when I'm in Vaughan. Our server was on point and didn't interrupt during my business meeting. I had the daily Seabass special and it was delicious. A great spot for a business lunch.

We have been frequenting Zizi for almost 2 decades. In all that time and especially June 14 2023 for my wife's birthday, the food from the appetizers, Bruschetta and Pizza shared by 4, to the mains, osso bucco, branzino, and pastas and ending with Mt all time favorite Lemon Ripieno- everything and I mean everything is unrushed and spaced out exquisitely. The service is friendly and superb. A place I treasure going to.

Our first visit to Zizi Trattoria. We were seated at a comfortable table in the corner. The restaurant has high ceilings and feels very spacious. The staff was very accommodating and gave great suggestions for our meal. My meal was very fresh and tasty . It looks like a great spot for large group events.

Too many rules. As returning customers my friend and I looked forward to a lunch out at Zizi’s. Our dining experience came with several surprising instructions. NO menu modifications or substitutions. ONLY one bill per table, NO splitting to use separate credit cards and NO exceptions. Diners are expected to sort themselves out afterwards. Zizi had absolutely no flexibility with their policies (even though we were one of approximately four tables in the restaurant at the time). Wait staff were pleasant and attentive but the food was mediocre at best. They offered a full dinner menu (at lunchtime) but there was an option for $2 off if ordering a smaller portion of pasta. As a result we won’t return. Believe there are plenty of good restaurants nearby that will treat their patrons better.

The service was horrible. It has been years since we ate here and after this meal won’t be back. One of us had the fish special, which was supposed to be deboned. This wasn’t done properly and resulted in having to pick apart the meal to not swallow bones. When we complained to the waiter, there was no apology, he just grabbed the plate of bones and took it to the kitchen. Another server who place the food on our table was miserable. We also had to beg to get the bill at the end of the meal.

Billy and staff were great. Never felt rushed at all on one of the busiest nights of year (Valentines). Food came out hot. Calamari a bit too big for my liking and risotto overcooked but delicious! Lamb chops are to die for! Wine selection was fantastic and great value for what you order! Where can you go out and find a great bottle of barbaresco for under $80? Definitely going back!

food quality was excellent, we went there with the family. All 5 of us enjoyed appetizers mains and desserts. Our only complaint was it was cold by the window, but other than that the service food and atmosphere were all excellent.

The service was excellent. Robert was very friendly and provided great food recommendations. We were a group of 3 ladies small eaters and we ordered 2 apps and a main to share. Didn't feel pressure to order more which was good. I will go back again.

We loved Zizi Trattoria and will definitely be back. It was very busy the day we went but the food was outstanding for all 4 of us who went. We all thought it was great. The only negative was that it was very loud. But we were there on a Saturday night so we should have expected it to be busy. Despite that, the service was good and the food came out in a timely fashion. Will definitely return.

Four of us all had something different. The pastas were generous and delicious. The pizza was excellent. Well cooked crust and tasty toppings. The veal marsala was tender and good perhaps a little sweet for my taste but really well cooked. Sides were great. I would highly recommend. Staff are always outstanding!

We chose to eat out on the patio which sounded like a great idea. Unfortunately, because of the restaurant’s location, it was very noisy from the traffic. Otherwise, the food and the service were good.

We ordered a pizza and a veal chop. The pizza was undercooked but that wasn’t the issue. The veal chop with a mushroom peppercorn sauce was very salty. I called over a waiter that wasn’t ours to return the veal chop but our waiter or the manager never came to us to ask if we wanted something else or what the problem was. I asked for the bill and paid it then told the waiter we wouldn’t come back because she we sent the food back he didn’t do anything. He told me I ate some of it so he didn’t do anything. I took 4 bites!!!!! Do not eat here.. the food tastes like the service... they don’t care.

Food was very tasteful, Bruschetta was served on warm buns which was to much bready, Caesar salad was very good, fresh and crisp, I had the Pollo Rossi which was the sautéed chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce, again very tasteful, I would order it again and the side vegetables were cook just right. I would definitely visit again.

We had eaten at Zizi few times before this one; this was the first time during the global pandemic and social/physical distancing. We were very impressed with the table spacing to maintain safe distances between patrons. The wait staff were all wearing face coverings properly. They rely on the honour system for contact tracing; something that could be improved upon because people can leave false information or not sign in at all since it was unattended. The food was fantastic, as expected! My wife had the Pollo Rossi which was super moist and delicious! I had the Bistecca Zizi and I was very impressed...I am usually skeptical of having steaks at non-steakhouses but this one cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Great experience...considering the new world of eating out we would be happy to recommend Zizi!
