Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Old Town Scottsdale

7 of us came for my birthday yesterday and had such a great experience. our waiter (i completely forgot his name, but kyle is on the receipt so we’re rolling with that 😩) was an absolute joy from start to finish. my cousin asked about the pistachio gin pasta, and he described it so perfectly that it tasted exactly how he said it would — she loved it. i had the chicken orzo and it was phenomenal. the breading stayed nice and crunchy, and the chicken was super juicy. since it was my birthday, they brought out a complimentary banana split. unfortunately, i’m allergic to bananas (which he had no way of knowing), but he was incredibly apologetic and offered me a shot instead. honestly, that was amazing too. we all had a great time and i’d definitely come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Capital Grill, is tremendous. The service is amazing, ambience fabulous. Best happy hour in the city, wonderful menu, great bread basket. They have complimentary valet as well. This restaurant could be my favorite.

My wife and I visited for an anniversary dinner and the experience was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable about their menu and provided great recommendations. The food was excellent and we would definitely return next time in Scottsdale.

This is a beautiful space on the outside wall of the Fashion Square mall. The food was top notch and the service was very attentive. We started with Social Hour cocktails: La Flaca a Mezcal & Tequila cocktail with a rosemary bubble and the Teleferic Sangria, a blend of red wine, gin, brandy and triple sec.With our drinks we each were given complementary Tapas, Roasted potatoes with Brava sauce and Aioli which were delicious Dinner started with Grilled Pulpo which was very tender. We shared Paella Negra which had shrimp, baby scallops, Clams and broccolini. Everything was cooked just right. The clams were a little gritty. We were disappointed to find out that you need to request Socarrat ( the rice crust on the bottom of the pan). There is nothing on the menu and our server did not mention it. We had the Torrija Catalan French Toast for dessert. A light but very refreshing dessert. We were seated in the front window of the restaurant looking straight out into the mall. We suggest a window film or sheer curtain as this is a real vibe killer to this beautifully designed space. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will be back to sample more of the menu

Haven’t been awhile and it’s just as good as I remember. Consistency, quality and execution is all top notch!
