Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Grove Park

We visited The Big Easy on Saturday night as part of my boyfriend’s 55th birthday celebrations, and what a fantastic evening it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was brilliant. The music was just right, creating that lovely, foot-tapping vibe that makes you want to settle in, relax and enjoy the evening. The drinks were absolutely superb, but a very special mention has to go to Klei. What an exceptional talent! Brilliant at what they do, engaging, personable and clearly someone who takes real pride in their craft. Quite simply, one of the best front-of-house team members we’ve encountered in a very long time. A real credit to The Big Easy and someone who genuinely elevated our experience. And then there was the food! My lobster and seafood medley was beautiful, full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyable, while my boyfriend’s brisket was equally impressive. Both dishes were delicious and certainly didn't disappoint. I'll admit, when we first booked, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. But The Big Easy completely won us over. The combination of fantastic food, excellent drinks, great music and genuinely outstanding service made for a really memorable birthday celebration. Sometimes a place just gets everything right, and for us, The Big Easy did exactly that. A huge thank you to Klei and the team for helping make a special occasion even more special. We will absolutely be back!

From arrival until leaving the staff were perfect.. available when required but not over powering The food was excellent in surroundings both attractive and enjoyable. Lovely evening !! I would recommend without hesitation. Hoping to return soon.

Myself, my husband and our son visited Royal China for the first time yesterday and we can't wait to go back. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and were asked if we would like drinks at the bar as we were slightly early. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. Our waitress Jenny was exceptional and gave us great recommendations when we were trying to decide what food to order. She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We are looking forward to going back to Royal China some day very soon.

Our third time at Mei Ume. My wife’s favorite restaurant in London. Different dishes every time and every one outstanding. An expensive fine dining experience in a very calm and comfortable atmosphere with attentive but never intrusive service.
