    This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We were in Victoria on a day-long tour and made a point to fit in tea at The Empress. The hotel is magnificent and the tea is an experience matched to the hotel's reputation and grandeur. Our server (Lorne) has been serving tea at The Empress for more than 30 years and he was simply the best-- so pleasant with many fun anecdotes to share for his years in the job. The tea itself was, of course, excellent. And the food was top notch. I've had tea at many fine hotels around the world and this one was very near the top of my list!

    Exceeded expectations! Food and service (our server Michael was excellent) were elevated in a comfortable, upscale dining area. Enjoyed all of our seafood dishes, unique drink offerings and desserts. One of our favorites in Victoria.

    Wonderful experience! We have one person who is gluten-free, and they went above and beyond, it was the first time he could enjoy everything! it was incredible! We had walked by the emperor and it was very noisy and seemed not anywhere near as could’ve been experience. It also is twice the price. This was absolute perfection! The best teatime we’ve done all around the world!
