Quiet Sunday night, couples dinner. the salads were superb. The service was excellent. The fish and chips was excellent. I found the veal shepherds pie to be not top-notch but overall very good and of great value.

If you go, you really need to try the mixed grill appetizer. I think next time I want it as my entree. Ours had chunks of boar and elk and boar and venison sausages with 3 very different, but delicious, dipping sauces. Yum. The rest of the meal was delicious but that mixed grill was amazing.

What a wonderful dining experience at The Beacon in Boone, NC! From the inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, everything made for a memorable evening. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell that attention to detail and quality are priorities here. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The Beacon is truly a gem in the High Country! If you’re visiting Boone or live in the area, I highly recommend adding The Beacon to your list. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding!! This Saturday evening, I enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass. It was fantastic. So I came back the next evening for Japanese Wagu and it was fantastic. Everything was excellent. Service, Ambiance, and Food! Overall, I think this is the best fine dining restaurant in North Carolina and probably beyond

We are long time regulars to Americano steakhouse in Roan Mountain, and will continue be there for a lovely dinner anytime or special dinner with friends and family. I wanted to give a quick update, there is no longer wine or liquor but beer is available. BYO wine seems to be allowed. The food and service still continues to be excellent and a good value.
